Might be more chance of shifting it if you called it an STi9 Talizman. Potential buyers probably being turned off cos they think it's a bugeye.

Bandwagon? It's not a bandwagon, nor is it Mike's invention. It's the nomenclature used internally by Prodrive and Subaru, whereas the "alternative" is merely the invention of a few car geeks.

Yes, if the car you get is an MY04 STI Type UK, you could, with a certain amount of justification, call it an STi10, although it'd be far less ambiguous to the great unwashed if you simply called it an MY04 STi Type UK...

I've just bought a house which was unplanned, hence the early sale.

I had intended to keep the car for at least a couple of years, but it does make more sense to tighten the purse-strings due to the new pad.

I can only tell you what the figures were when I bought and what you may expect to get, but without actually doing some figures, I can't give you a price.

for £25,500 thats £1500 discount
You never get anywhere near yer money back on extras

The car is 10 months old and has had £6k spent on it, on top of the £25k new price.

£23k for a £31k 10 month old car is good value IMHO, but thanks for your "advice" anyway.
