Jon, possibly, so many adaptations though, sometimes quicker to just build new looms

Adam, yes, of course it spreads the load more across 6 bearings but were not worried. Dont forget we also have a special crank

I have a special crank too.

There is nothing special about the crank which can make up for a distinct lack of bearing surface area.

nothing to do with oil supply or oil pressure either, the force exerted on the bearings pushes the oil out. The larger the torque the greater the area of oil required for the sheer strength to not be overcome. Have no idea how 4 small bearings can be expected to cope with 600lbft, and I presume you are talking more than that?

Not much happening at the moment, waiting to get some cam cover gaskets then the covers can go on and the engine can go in the car

We will also be removing the throttle bodies, adapter plates, NOS nozzles etc before the engine goes into the car. We intend to the run engine in on standard tumbler housing and inlet manifold with added injector bosses welded on
