SO after having read all the posts... what is the best advice or what is the next step...

1] Should I have received something else between the time I was stopped and the summons...
2] Should I reply guilty or not guilty...
3] Should I get a solicitor involved...
4] Should I contact my witness to come forward

Please advise and thanks in advance

"... You will be reported for the consideration of the question of prosecting you for excess speed..." Some sneaky forces print this statement onto their stationary so that the officer does not have to actually say it to you. Adeel: if two Police Officers hold the opinion that you were speeding; traffic or not, you're fecked. They don't need to use an approved device, where it's used this just re-enforces their opinion. I'm aware of a case where a Police Officer completely contradidcted himself when he was caught out; the magistrates still believed him despite changing his eveidence half way through the trial...

What happens if I lose my license, or I get a ban, do I re-apply... what should I do...

Is it a good idea to plead guilty and include some notes to take into consideration when sending back the reply for the summons.

Its one of those where I must attend court, it can't be done through the post.

Please advise...
