having a few small probs with his car, CEL light keeps coming on.
tried everything even changed ecu's but no luck.
only thing left to try is boost solenoid
ive tried looking for some wires behind dash to get error code but i cant find them

 

they should be just behind the steering coulum 2 green and 2 black, with male and female conectors on them m8!

no prob's mate if ya still have no luck give me a shout and i will pop down in morning

it could be a number of thing's that make the CEL come on have you got the hand book if not i will bring mine

 

one of the plugs was taped up, no wonder i couldn't find it
got error code 22 - knock sensor
whats this mean? is knock sensor broke or is engine knocking????

 

knock sensor is faulty so could be loose or broken wire! it wont be the mota as the CEL only tells ya when there is a sensor not working correctly
have you got a circut tester? if not ive got one ya can lend m8

Hyper, but the hiper will only fit with the hiper centre section, it takes a different route.

Hyper is cool though

 

so i would have to get the full system?

 

i can think of worse things to spend money on

cant see knock sensor anywhere, gonna have to take bits off to find it
i stuck my arm in there and felt about, wiggled some wires etc and CEL aint come on yet today

 

knock sensor is under intercooler in front of gear box, slightly on the right hand side (if looking from front), but almost under the throttle body.

pum, you do need the back box and centre for the hyper. New is about £500, 2nd hand around £250. Try and get the bung for it, as that will gove you 2 exhaust sounds in 2 for £40, takes 2 minutes to change. Quiet with it in, but with it out
