Bracknell Meet 28th August
Nice to meet you Paul
see you at the next - and yeah, get that post count up
D
Iain - give that car back now
I kid you not, those tyres are nothing sort of life endangerers on a scoob, I have 1st hand experience - do not push it too hard or they will bite your as$ in a bad way. Seriously mate, be very VERY careful they are the worst tyres I've ever come across, and tell your colleague to never EVER have them put on again
Its also stopping his enjoyment of the car as it can do sooooo much more with tyres that have at least some grip.....

BTW who was in the Scooby following me through Bracknell?
Yes, that would have been me. You were very good. You kept to the 40 mph posted limit all the way until it went national speed limit. And then you booted it off that roundabout
Gotta hand it to you - my poor little scooby was trying its hardest to keep up with you but it was a losing battle...
Well done Iain, give yourself a pat on the back!
Glenn, that stretch of road up past the BP is a favourite of mine (as it is for a few others on here as well!
)
. I tend to stick to the limits in 30s, 40s, etc.... as my car is just asking for attention. However, give me a national speed limit and I'm off!
Nice to have met you anyway, and hopefully we'll see you at the next meet.

ScoobyJawa,
You should like the wet. It's great for doing powerslides out of T-junctions. I do kind of miss that sometimes now. I think I'd be happier with a scooby with an adjustable centre diff. Better get saving for the Spec C then...

Nice to see you all again. Managed to have the Clio bouncing off the rev limiter in 1st and 2nd up the road !!! Still, gotta get some use out of it before it goes back in next Monday...
