i'm quite content with my STi8...it hits the most lovely notes when being floored in 3rd and 4th.

however, i wouldn't mind trading it in for a FORD...

....FORD GT40 that is! (...and only if it comes as a right-hander! )

Sticking to the original question and assuming I am only allowed one car

"If you had the choice of one car, money no object, what would it be and why? "

I would ask Aston Martin's Works Service department to build me a Vanquish Shooting Brake with a bit of extra leg room for the rear seats. Would be almost unique, one of the best sounding cars on the planet and very useable.

Id take andy burtons 306R4. Its the best sounding car out there. Better than the noise a metro makes.

Beat me to it Marx. The EB110 has always been a favourite, even though I thought it was quite ugly when it first came out.

Buggati Veyron
The only car in the world which has, great exterior looks, great interior looks, one huge engine (W16), and one amazing sound, and a moddest price tag. Not forgetting the 250.1mph top speed and 0-60 in about 3.0 seconds

Vanquish, but I want a manual 'box, and 4WD (like Bond had, but with the Aston engine, not the Ford V8).........

.........then again, the only vehicle I'd dare to leave on the streets of England these days would be a Fiat Panda.
