Haven't got a clue.

Post it up on the 'legacyb4' site on yahoo groups.

If you haven't already
There are a couple of autos on here.

Hi

I'm another proud owner of a 2001 B4 rsk auto/tiptronic

I've had mine for nearly a year now and I love it. Its really quick and easy to drive and people are always asking me what it is!

I've caught out a lot of fast cars in it and its also the most comfortable car i've ever owned.

Although the stage2 turbo is now making some unhealthy noises which has been a bit gutting and may need replacing!??

Just bought a 1998 Legact GT Twin Turbo estate car (badged just GT with Bilstein badge below ?)...I believe its the 1999 model but registered late 1998.

Drove it from Dublin to Donegal & seems to go well, very comfortable, good brakes & you dont realise the speeds you're doing....it could be dangerous for speeding !!

Hope to get some pics up soon !!

Cheers,
David

Hi, I have a 2000 B4,manual,silver.
As you say it is a great stealth car. I have used mine as a daily driver for 5 years.
Unusually, it was imported new.Has Black/blue leather.
It has been fairly reliable apart from blowing a primary turbo.
Have fitted 4-pot brakes ,EBC grooved disks,Red Stuff pads,Excedy clutch, performance air-filtre & poly anti-roll bar bushes & STI Genome back box. Also fitted boot lid lip spoiler & painted the grill matt-black to match the rest of the trim. Now has STI front seats in Black/blue that match the interior pretty well & are far superior to the originals which were getting worn on he bolsters.
Running on OZ Ultraleggera wheels in dark graphite.

Have had many people ask me what make of car it is has the jap Legacy bonnet badge.

Red 98 BG5 GT-B LTD here. Getting traded in a few weeks down the line for a MY05 STi tho. Not quick enough and munches far too much fuel. Great car tho. Plus its the only known red bg5 gt-b in the country, whoop!

I am finding the same with our one....people asking what it is....thge badge certainly looks strange !!! I also noticed...that theres not a Subaru badge (the oval stars one) anywhere on the car !!!

Your right, mine only has a B4 badge on the back & a very small 'subaru' in chrome. Also the 'LEGACY' in the rear light panel is hard to see.I have noticed that official UK cars have 'SUBARU' in the rear light panel instead.BTW I have also integrated the rear fogs into the light panel as imports cars don't have rear fogs & i didn't like the bolt on fog light.

The weirdest feature is that the front side lights go bright when you indicate to turn helping illuminate the corner.

Will try to get pics up tomorrow.
