How Many Twin Turbo Legacys on Scoobynet?
#31
Mark,
I agree we could have a TT register and also a Legacy Club. Maybe we can discuss at the next meet? I was looking at September perhaps towards the end and a venue in the South Midlands so all those in the South can make it with less travel, how does somewhere like South of Coventry sound, thats no more than 90 minutes from London, but also not too far from up North? I know the area a little as my in laws live there and there are some nice pubs in the country side.
Regarding the Jap Performance I did get in touch with the editor at that magazine and he was keen to do TT feature. I left my details but he never got back to me. I think I'll send another e mail to remind him and maybe we can get a feature on the BG5 model and the B4.
If you think its a good idea on the venue and date then I'll go ahead and start a list and get things going.... comments please from all TT owners.
Yours as ever in the STEALTH world
Tim

Surely it should be 'how many mobile fridges?'
BTW, you missed your fan club Friday, they came and asked where you were, then waited all night, poor souls got frozen
This is my first post on my new computer - had to share that with you See you soon

Tim,
Coventry is alright with me.
Just need a date, to see if I'm free
Now I'm a poet
Could try and get Jap performance to turn up?
Anything gone up on the yahoo site?
Pele,
Sorry to disappoint, hopefully be autographing on the 31st
The 'fridge' will return.

I've got a '95 GT Wagon a few months ago, needed something big, quick and (relatively) cheap. I love it, and a board/club would be great to sotr out advice/parts etc.
btw, Anyone got a spare steering wheel??

Hi everyone,
Just to say it's good to see there are a few TT owners out there.
I am new to Scoobynet, but have just bought my second GT Wagon.
The first I have owned for two years, it was a '95 dark blue with gold wheels looked great. The latest is a Silver '97 with 17" rims, induction kit and large rear exaust kit.
I am currently trying to get as much info on whether this will actually cause the demise of my primary turbo. I have found a lot of conficting info so far.
I know of one other in blue just up the road. Are we really that rare. Maybe the reason is the difficulty in extracting more power easily, any comments. A meet sounds interesting.
Regards
Les.

I can't do the 6th or the 20th.
just thought I'd get in quick
legacyldc,
demise of the primary turbo will probably come down to levels of boost, and how you drive

I'm busy on 14th Sept......trying to drive as fast as I can in a forest up north in my little sowing machine!!
Usually any other date should be ok with me & south of Coventry seems ok.
Rich & myself may even have a little convoy of white fridges travelling the highways!!

Ok dudes,
I'm in Coventry next weekend so i'll look for a suitable venue. as for the date it may have to be early October as last weekend in September is the Subaru Shoot Out at Elvington, and I've just entered, only twin turbo at the moment and only one other Legacy. I know I wont win, but I know I wont be last, should be fun.
How about the 5th October, thats a Sunday for the meet at Coventry?
Your comments please
Tim

I have one too !!
A 95 GT Twin Turbo Estate Manaul.
I just read about 40 previous posts on this link so there can only be another 50 people in the country who have one !!
Mine has just blown a big end :-[ they used to be the best car ever (according to me) not so sure now though, somewhat dissapointing when you have to shell out £2k to get it fixed !!
On phoning around a bit to see who can perform the work so many garages say 'oh I do about 3 or 4 a week big end on Imprza's and Legacy's' !! Obviously quite common.
Regards,
Jeffrey

Hi
Just noticed your comment re big end yep seems to be very common indeed this to did happen to me very annoying as I only had the car 6 days thats right six days, I did find someone who really has done a good job on mine the chaps name is colin 01189451333 he even lent me a car transporter trailer to bring it up to him.
I have to say the car is running like a dream now and sounds good to, even my boost seems better. Paul

There is a new Legacy Register in the UK, but not just for TT's
www.legacyregister.co.uk
Looks like a good starting point for TT owners in the UK as well as the yahoo groups register.
I'll be sending details and photos in the next few weeks.

Any of you guys interested in a leather interior?
The seats are out of a 1998 BH5 (early latest shape) GT Twin Turbo Estate.
Previous interest never turned into anything so they are still for sale. If no interest here I will sell them on bay.

Thanks.
