Hi all,

My good lady wife loves the Scoob and drives it during the day as my sixty mile commute is a bit ouch on the wallet. She was into them before me as her late father had a Legacy Turbo five door!

The first day she used it for work, all the boy-racers there accused her of 'all pose, no go'. These were the same very embarrassed chaps in their GTI/SRI's etc that were buried on the way home "For being cheeky"

Does this mean she's a 'girl racer'?

My Scooby is registered in my other half's name - and boy is the insurance cheaper

Lisa is a very capable driver and particularly good at getting away from lights in a hurry. The 'MaxPower' types really do not like seeing the cuddly scooby smiling at them from the parcel shelf when they try it on from a standing start.

Really worrying part of the deal is that she just can't wait to try out a P1 (some time this year I presume ), and if we agree not to like it I can go looking for a Jap Spec variant to play with

Yex - must learn to spell

prodrive my97

my wife refuses to drive it. says it's too wide and can't see the back because of the spoiler.

however, she charmingly refers to the bonnet intake as the "scoobysnort" which i rather like (but even that gets in the way too apparently).

Jamie,
As a relative newcomer I was particularly impressed by your website, however a bit of confusion....is it Scoobie or Scubie? Or is this another Americanism?

Phil.

p.s or even Scooby?

Nicki owns 'our' 22B, she test drove our original scoob a couple years back and was hooked! Sadly she preferred driving the MY99 with PPP to the 22, so is nagging me to get another one next year - lets hope this years a good one at work!
Nicki always gets to drive w/e afternoons as we spend too many in pubs with me drinkin stella and she Pepsi! Trying to get her first track day organised now!
Cheers
Charles

Hi there,I don't have a scooby, but my boyfriend has and I can't wait to give it a go(I'm just waiting to get it without him coming along as I think it would upset him too much)! He's a bit more careful than I would be!So all you men watch out there may be a Suzy about!!Hooray for girl power.
