Id personally gone out the A59 straight to the M1, nice wide road Oppertunities

A64 & McDonalds sounds good.........they do a nice breakfast in a bun nowadays.

Rich, I think we'll have to have a little white GTB convoy of our own, as I went to the 1 and only UK GTB meet earlier this year & I was the only white GTB there.

Si, the meeting point for york convoy is at the Riverside pub at skelton 09.30am, depart 10.00am, you and dremel are most welcome to join us there as i dont think we have any white gtbs in the convoy.

We can arrange the best route on the day I.E. A59 TO GREEN HAMMERTON AND THEN B6265 VIA BOROUGHBRIDGE INTO RIPON - CRUISE THROUGH RIPON TOWN CENTRE AND THEN ONTO LIGHT WATER VALLEY if this suits everyone? - any other suggested routes, please feel free to say and we can decide on the day at the Riverside pub.

(The above route is on good country roads so the sound of a few scoobs purring away will echo off the hills nicely!)

Just a quick one for you to move this along a bit People like definates so I suggest the following:

Stick a list of definates up (It makes it easy for everyone to picture the convoy and reinforces that people are not going to turn up to an empty car park)
Go firm on a time to meet
Go firm on a start place (This instills further confidence)
Stick to your plan, It'll be easier for one person to fit into your plan than for you to accommodate 10 different plans

Jazzyjeff thanks for the offer m8 but after looking on the map, Skelton is just off the ring road on the A19 so I should find it ok. I presume the pub is on the main road??

I shall be there between 9:30-10 (as long as I can motivate missus/kid), and look forward to the day with baited breath!!

I know where Skelton is, we have done lots of work at the food factory on the Industrial Estate and I can get there with my eyes closed. Just had clearance from the wife to go out for the day.

I'll do my "most bestest" to get my horribly slow and standard silver bugeye there on time to slow you all down (especially Craig )
