Hi everyone, missyC has invited me from a thread about driving in south manchester. I was about to organise something over there, as there didn't seem to be much going on. So here I am on your run. Could you please email me all the details of the run out. I won't be with the wife as she is working, but will have my 2 kids in tow, Paige @ 8 and Isaac @ 6, will they enjoy it do you think? They like drives out, but only if there is a play area at the end of it!!
Will anybody else be taking kids, so they will have someone to play with while I play with the big toys?!
I have also asked on my thread if anyone else wants to come from south manchester, so your numbers may swell, hope the clockhouse is big!

Venue meet has options

1. Meet at Festival (11:15) drive to Clock warehouse (12:00). Arrive Clock Warehouse 12:30

2. Meet at Clock Warehouse (11:30) and save places for the rest driving down

You can do either. I'll do Number 1 (Being as I organised it). Individuals can choose which they do.

Clock Warehouse has to be a good venue to meet, pleasant surroundings and all that + near to M1 (J24)

Am I leading the convoy then ?!

 

I hope that everyone got my email the other day, although I did have probelms with one or two email addresses I took from profiles.

Confused about this non turbo thing as well ?????

All cars are welcome to the meets + anyone else thats interested in the marque that currently hasn't one from the range.

And I agree with Casper, people do need to talk to each other and not just those they know. Remember we all share a similar interest

As I said I was struggling with some people e-mails ? for some unkown reason.

The e-mail was just a reminder to turn up thats all and the times for meeting. Which is all on here.

I have phoned the clockwarehouse and we are OK for Sunday. Try and park in the carpark to the right (Slightly lower down and not as popular as the main one). The lady I spoke to is an Impreza fan and has asked if she could go for a spin in a P1! (Don't know if any are coming). There is also a VW Beetle club meeting the same day, but not as many. They have hired the function room, which could be a possibility for us in the future. There are two bars, and the upstairs one accomodates eaters as well.

 

who'll be the first to say "that scooby sounds awesome" only to find out it's a Beetle coming up the road

I feel quite sad I don't have my Scoob anymore! May walk up to the Festival with my pooch to wave at you all (Sad cow!!!)

I sold my Scoob and bought an Alfa 156 Selespeed Veloce, I still go to meats in it.

I made too many friends while owning the scoob to just give up meeting everyone.

So come along and say hello.

Thats great news! my brother wanted to come in his new toy (rs focus)and get some video of the scoob's, but wasn't sure if he would be escorted from the premises! lol! so that's a slow ford coming then!!
