Fantastic! driving home on Tuesday and some stupid little T*&t pulled out of a side road into the side on my car! Not impressed!

looks like I wont be making the 25th afterall!

 

Just me, someone without a scooby and someone without a car! Are there any other regular meets in the area that I know nothing about? Everyone must be going somewhere!

Didn`t check my thread for ages `cos noone responded to start with and i`ve just noticed the response!
Cat and Fiddle sounds good if anyones up for it. We can meet in Macc and drive up there for a coke!

As some of you may have seen, my car was vandalised on Friday night. Someone took it upon themselves to pour paint stripper all over it. I`ve had a quote for around a grand to fix it. Anyway, this means that on 25th i`ll have a courtesy car! boo hoo!

I`ll still be up for a meet though and I think the best thing to do is meet in Macc and drive up together. Those that want to can just meet us at the Cat and Fiddle.

Suggestions please!!

By the way, can anyone recommend a really good bodyshop?!?!?!

 

I think I saw your car yesterday, you drove past my house (I was fixing gate). I am sorry to hear this has happened, I did not realise people do this anyany more!!!

It would be great to meet up, hire car or not.

 

Macc Motor Bodies is one of the best in the area, Mine is going in to have the damage repaired from car accident last week. If im not the only one in a hire car then will join everyone. What about meeting at the MillStone Car park before heading up to Cat and Fiddle on 25th???

 

Is that just opposite the station? Not sure of pubs in Macc. Sounds ideal if it is.

25th is a tuesday - might be an idea to wait until the clocks go back (2 weeks time i think) so we have more daylight time to look at everyones cars and get noticed on the drive up?

 

I think most people will be in hire cars anyway, so probably will not want to look at them for too long!

The postcode for the Old Mill is SK11 6JZ. Try some of the routing web sites to give you directions. I think the easiest would be to follow the M60 to Stockport, then A6 upto the Rising Sun pub and then follow the A523 all the way into Macc. Then follow signs for the station.

Well i'm going to be there. Should be at the Millstone for 730pm. Might come in my mates car or might come in my courtesy micra with 60bhp. Either way, i'll be there to quiz everyone about their cars!
