Cricket World Cup Chaos
Here's the theory : If India win the toss, they bat first, get 250 and Kenya get 120. If Kenya win the toss, they bat and get 200, india struggle through to that in the 45th odd over, or they get out for 150 and play Aussi in the final. Wouldn't that be the shock of the bloody century!!!!!
Sir Lanka should have won that, can't anyone just get the 200 neede to beat the aussies??

I'm primarily an Indian fan, due to heritage, so go on India!
I also favour England becuase I've lived here since I was 1!
I was born in Kenya so it feels funny watching my favourite teams play each other. On that note, how many matches have Kenya actually won in this tournament?
Thanks
Sonu

Well
India are through as predicted! I must say it's certainly been a very eventful world cup. I would have loved to have gone a South Africa.
Now, the Aussie's. That'll be a tough one, but there's so many people routing / praying for India, I'm sure they can do it. Go India, go India, go India
.
I've ordered my Tendulkar top, it should arrive on Saturday
Thanks

Yes Bleak, forgot about those two, well everyone did beat them(Canada were Canada and Bangladesh were bloody aweful). Well, as I type, the aussis are 299/2 after 45 overs with Ponting just scoring a 100. India look to be in an ever increasing hole that even Sachin can't dig them out of. Your bet is safe planky
Yep...They totally out played India and with Sachin getting out in the first over
,game,set and match...
359 for 2 WTF!!if you've going to win you'll might as well rub it in.

Yep, a flawless batting display by the Australian, that ladies and gentlemen, is how you win a game of cricket. We seem to be the only team who can bowl against the aussis, shame we can't bat

Well, it's been a pretty tight world cup, no shortage of drama on and off the field. I was a little disappointed about the New Zealand performance, and VERY disappointed in the English result
It's also been great discussing the various games on here with planky and a occasionally Sonu, a delightful 6 pages

Cheers.

Indeed
I've really enjoyed the world cup and the various discussions.
Damn, have to wait another 4 years for the next round of controversey
How did that song go:
I don't like cricket ahh, I love it ahh, oh yea

Yeah i was terribly disappointed with NZ's performance, totally shocking

Btw England came the closest to beating the Aussies, remember
No it was nice while it lasted and perhaps the best team won and hopefully in 4 years time, most of the aussies would been suspended for drug taking
and if that should happen it will give the mighty England team its first world cup

10cc my favorite raggae group

Pfffft. Close but no cigar ay
The aussis don't get a victory parade which I find bloody hilarious. They have to fly off to the Caribbean almost as soon as they get back. Suckers
Anyways, i am now gearing up for the Rugby World Cup. I am off to see The Blues take on the The Brumbies at Eden Park. Not a very nice night, but should be an absolute cracker of a game!!

LOL..Its only 3 hours difference here in the UK.
You know you said its unfair for the Kiwi's being fined but they aint done anything to change that, thats what England has been doing for last week with the ICC...Anyway if England gets some points from the postponed Zimbabwe match,it will give a good case for NZ to gets some points to,so fingers crossed.
Next game is Sunday against Holland, what do you reckon England win!!
