I have an appointments book listing all the people who want to have a go - I had two married ladies in the back last Friday night (but that's another story..)

I have recently had the PPP fitted to mine . This transforms the car in all respects.Strangly it improves the handling and ride must be something to do with the power delivery.1st 2nd and 3rd are mad. Fit it asap any of you who are not sure you wont regret it.

I understood from my dealer that there were to be 1000 Sti built for the UK market in total. I wonder how many are on this site
1000 STi Type UK/EU models were made, 750 were for the UK. The other 250 went to Europe and include the RHD imported EU models (which also include some Prodrive Style models).

They seemed to sell the 750 UK models in a space of about 6-8 months so they can't be that unpopular (and that doesn't include the extra EU souced onces on top of that!)

I've had mine since Jan & agree it can be hard to drive, and embarrasing if not enough revs are dialed in for a quick get away.
On the other hand its great fun both on road & track,it can carry the shopping in the boot and most importantly can carry our 6 month old baby in safety.
Not bad for a car thats only 3 odd seconds slower to a 100 mph than most super cars.

In round figures (the pedants'll tell you exactly) 300 BHP, 300 ft lbs Torque. 0-60 undoubtedly sub - 5, 0-100 a smidge over 12. Grin about 9"
