You RS OC people have really forgotten where the RS Marque came from...if your cars do not have a dump valve and plastic bumpers you are not interested.
It came from the days of the AVO Factory in Aveley, Essex when they produced the FIRST and the BEST RS Mexicos and RS2000's aswell as the RS 1600(No, not the Turbo rubbish)
My MK1 RS2000 is older than most of you and will be remembered long after your versions have gone.
Long may these proper RS cars reign.

LOL my friends RS1600 mk1 twin cam and RS1800 mk2 would put your shed to shame - especially with its dodgy boy racer K+N perched on it LOL
Was a nice car you had but you just had to rice it up with the k+N you boy racer loser ROFLOL!!!

My first RSOC meeting a few years ago with my Mex.....
Arrived and spoke to the organiser...mine was the only MK1 there and everyone was so embrioled in their conversations about DV's and boost gauges, there was no interest in an old classic like mine at all.
It was where the marque came from and was part of the reason Ford are so synonimous with Motorsport today but everyone seems to forget that.
To me its like a real working class bloke winning the lottery and never speaking to his mates again.
Sorry Guys, thats the way I have seen it for a long time now.
Incidently...the exhaust is a stainless steel job with a tail pipe that sounds great...its not just a bolt on!!

Where the hell is our (as in paid for by the members!) BB!!!! The old "we're moving" message disappered a while back. And (as usual) they havent told anybody anything!!!! Group mail wouldnt go amiss about now!
