Snow,

Dates on posts go like that when the post has been edited apparently. It was in a thread a while ago.

Cheers

Todge,

Remember mate, it's about 10 to 20% easier to follow than to lead !!

Cheers

Cool

Roger Moore is a walking mannequin. Connery was the only decent Bond, same as Ian Ogilvie was the only decent Simon Templar.

I've never seen a Saint annual, but I'd read all 43 of the Saint books that then existed, by the time I was 16. Trust me on this, Ogilvie caught the feel of the early books, which don't have the cynical overtones of the later ones. Moore just sleepwalked through all those Monty Berman scripts.

More to the point, you should judge the Bond actors against Fleming's writings.

Oh christ, I'm scratching me head a bit !!

Softwizz - Don't remember asking you're opinion mate anyway, you're wrong!

Ian - You're getting better... Like it! Bit of an operator yourself from what I saw at Coombe last week - Sorry, had to go look at the LP collection to get it!!

Taz, I've heard nothing back...

Sue...yeh??

IMHO you shouldn't need to *ask* my opinion in order to *get* my opinion - this is a BBS after all! If you really want to exclude controversial comments you may need a different vehicle!

If you want to see a good example of the process of opinions being contested in public, have a look at http://www.wikipedia.org - even better than a bulletin board, it's a forum for people to define any aspect of the world in their own words, including rewriting the words of others where they disagree. Lots of fun!

Steve - Being a novice to the Exmoor run, how representative was the drive that we did a couple of months ago? I understood we were "the slow boys" in our group....

Taz, weekend was ok. very long winded, worked 40 hours straght through so a bit knackered to say the least. Scumbags were let out 8 ish sat night but are on bail for it, if i get any grief then the law will come down on them. Apparently its a lot easier to nick some one when they are on bail.
Looking forward to exmoor though, thought the track day relieved my stress from the last brake ins but its all back and some.
Sue, i would guess the last exmoor was a average run for the 1st group, its been quicker, guess steve would be able to give you a better answer for the oap's

Softwizz - only having a laugh...keep your spoiler on

Sue - As the conditions were a bit variable and i really didn't feel like giving it too large, i'd say about 80% of max. Some places we did move along though! Attack mode was generally off rather than on.

Plus I had two guys behind me that had not been over before so didn't want any mishaps.
