Managed to get a whole one picture on before it gave up the ghost again. So your on the site atleast. I'll keep trying.
Going to take some pics of my DV tonight, and the lovely job of waxing using Zymol on the car. My paintwork isnt the best, bit surfaced scratches all over, but this stuff is the best I've used - and you can get it from Halfords. Also smells like Haiwan Tropic sun cream - luvvely

Yet another great looking car!! Amzing how all of them so far look superb condering their age and likely amount of foot-to-the-floor action.

Not sure exess - I've got a small pink 'STI' badge on the rear driver side, just below the tail light. From other folks pictures I cant see this sticker - maybe mine was just a 'halfords' job LOL! Who knows?

Hi guys, stumbled accross this thread by chance, so thought I should add my two-penneth! I have recently bought number lucky 13/100 straight from Japan. It was imported for me by local company Bluchip (http://www.bluchip.gg/).
Here are some pics (NOTE: it hasn't been washed cos the weather is pants)
The wheels and headlights are all I've done to it myself, it had the standard 15" gunmetal rims on when it arrived, yeurgh!!!

Hi Marky,
Yeah, no probs with adding me to the register.
The headlights aren't Morette, as they wouldn't fit - these are from http://www.upauto.co.uk/ and went in very easily. Much brighter than the originals as well. I've also emailed you, so drop me a line if you want more details.
Cheers,
Carrot

Sounds like you've spent some money then ! I've got a Mongoose decat on mine as well, been well impressed with the difference de-catting made, and I love the sounds you can hear since the decat.
You'll probably find, as I did, that going past 6K-6.5K revs isn't worth it, on the rolling road at least my peak power had been reached by then and it's the law of diminishing returns after that. One thing I intend to do on mine is upgrade the fuelling, as I believe I've reached the limits of the fuel pump/injectors.

You guys must be spending some serious cash on these cars...!
I wish I had the spare money to do a few upgrades, but the mortgage takes a hefty chunk, so can't really afford it!
Also, I don't really know what mods were done before I took delivery, so I don't want to spend my hard earned, upgrading something that's already been done!
If you had a grand to spend, and assuming my car is standard, what mods would you do with the money??
Cheers, 13/100

I'm not going the engine upgrade route either. Saying that I have a s/steel exhaust, HKS induction and Bailey DV. But thats it I reckon. Mainly because I prefer looks with reasonable power. You'd need to decide what your preference is first, then sift the for sale section - i've had a few good items out of there and SIDC's site. Some you can do yourself for peanuts (like I did the colour coding - all in £60, and my time and effort).
If I had a grand, good question??? Hmm.... probably do these:
colour code car, £200
lower car, £200
clear sidies and indicators, £50 2nd hand
sti rear clusters, £150 2nd hand
s/steel exhaust £ 200 2nd hand.
4 pots calipers and disks - £200 2nd hand

Probably the first mod worth doing is the exhaust - on the Scoobies, it's one of the most restricted parts of the engine. If you can, go for a full decat, on my car it lowered the turbo spool point by around 500-1000RPM, and allows the turbo to "breath" easier. Plenty to choose from, most around £500 or less. Be aware, the Blitz Nur Spec is VERY loud ! Only issue with a decat exhaust comes at MOT time, where you will fail emissions, solutions are to find a emissions "friendly" garage, or keep the downpipe with cat and swap it in and out for the MOT.
And, as I mentioned, fuelling is the next thing - IMHO, until the fuel pump and regulator are upgraded, it's not worth risking playing with boost until fuelling can keep up with it. My own car is running 1.3 PSI boost, and appears to have reached the limits on the standard fuelling.

Well that gives me something to think about... ;-)
MOT is not an issue over here as we don't have them ;-)
Marky, those 4 pots and discs look the bollx - and you got them for £200!? Can you keep your ear to the ground and let me know if you find anything similar?? My brakes could do with an upgrade - they're really noisy and dusty...! Also, how easy were they to fit? Is it a DIY job with a socket set???!!
Decat exhaust is a good option I guess - again, I'm assuming my exhaust is the standard item - it's got STi stamped on it... Is that a standard item?

Yeah, that sounds like the standard item. Mine had started to rot through on the backbox, which gave me an excuse to upgrade anyway ! No MOT, eh! Handy...
I upgraded mine to 4 pots as well, although my garage did it they should just swap over easily enough. £200 is a good price for the calipers, I got ripped off by a so called "respected" tuner on this board 2 years ago, and ended up paying £500 for just the calipers, no discs or anything. I've used Minted pads, mine have just about lasted me 2 years, very happy with the level of performance from them.

Hi Guys
Sorry I've not seen Chris yet to tell her about the thread but as soon as I see her I'll get some more info on her car for you.
Best bit of news for you is I've found No 7/100.
I went to CAS Motorsport in Ellesmere port the other day to have my tracking checked, And low and behold No 7 was on the ramps having a service.I only know the guy who owns it is fairly local and is in the Runcorn/Widnes/Warrington area somewhere.
Car was a silver saloon.
Hope this helps
Chris

Well spotted Young Ged. Any chance you could keep a lookout for him, or if you visit CAS again ask them who the owner is and if they'd have a contact number or similar. Every car is real find now!!
Carrot - I'll keep an eye out for you. They come up quite often - I got STI 5 calipers, brembo disks and Ferodo DS2500 pads for £250 as a package from a local owner - hardly used as well <5000 miles.
Exess is a man on a mission. Any more of this engine modding malarky and he'll be as bad a Boxer

Sorry Carrot, meant to answer your question - yes 4 pots were really quite easy to fit, doesnt take too long either - just take time over and dont break anything (i.e. bleed nipple) is my message though. Better still, get someone else to do it - most garages can do this in a hour or so. You need disks and pads, which again are really straight forward as well.
The original 2 pots aint great, although they work - but give them some stick and they quickly lose bite. I still have 2 set of calipers, disks and pagid pads - but they are pretty worthless to most people. 4 pots is the way to go
