Marky,
Dont know how to upload pics (total technophobe)
read the turbosport upload thing and didnt understand a word of it!! Have to say the only visible diff between my car and yours
is that mine has the low level spoiler, and the fog lights are not
there it has covers instead. Also it is hard to tell from the photo
but the plastic trims on the sills and on the bumper are black on
my car not coulour coded ( its silver btw).
Do you have any interior/ engine bay photos? would like to compare those also.

ps very nice car btw

Dougie

Alright Dougie,

Its alright, I just fumbled around turbosport, registered then used the upload tool. It give the link to copy - dead easy. If you send pictures to me, I could add them for you.

Mine sideskirts and rear skirts on bumper are black plastic too. The front spoiler is painted - get away with it because its black. I'll post panel with the number on it tonight.

Cheers,
Mark

Have spoken to Japvillage....
They have No.28 of the 100 NOT No.1 which the man tells me you wont get because Subaru have kept it and it will still be in Japan.

They advertised the car as 1 of 100 not no.1 Peggy you read it wrong anyway its a 4 door saloon in Black 94,000 miles and there asking £7,500 he also recons that being an Sti it nearer 300 BHP then 250 but who really knows.

Anyways pics later

Hi guys...

Had a quick peek at the ECU on my M94 STI Wagon today - due to lack of tools, couldn't actually take it out and have a look inside, but noticed the label on the front was pink ! So, I guess it must be a STI after all.

Goes in for a new clutch and backbox tomorrow.... there goes all my hard-earned

Looks in excellent nick mate!! I've saved the pictures for the gallery of originals.

Like it alot in red - see what you mean about the bright red you mentioned before. Is that STi wheels you have on there, or are they the McRae safari ones? Look great in gold don't they.

Guys if you get any more information on the ealry models please post it up, your cars are looking nice. Mine doesnt actually have the same highline spoiler but is the same shape only lower. Definately has the same back box as Markys from the looks of it though!
Will have to get round to putting some pics up

Heres two of your Car marky:

And some of mine, have to say when I first saw Neils/Your car I new right away that I have to have one. Ive seen lots of scoobs in the flesh and in Gallerys but that black car is Holly V in car form!! I too went for for a Ltd 374/500, but I think those Version 1 cars really did goto Sti for Tuning(blueprinted engine and handbuilt gearbox). I doubt that all Stis after this version goto Sti for Tuning but how would we know.

Does anyone else who has a Ltd Edition have the handcrafted by Sti badge in the Engine bay.

D8UGF - my apologies mate - I copied the file onto disk to bring home, and yes - I forgot to lift it. Good god! I'll definately get it tomorrow!

Thats so weird seeing your car, as previously owned by someone else......its like seeing a pic of you bird with someone before you. Weird eh?

I got my STi red/clear clusters fitted tonight, so when i post D8UGF's ones, I'll add a few of mine. Havent seen them in daylight as they were a git to come off because of this thick black mastik stuff - god its strong stuff!!

Jaay, meant to say - cars sweet!! Like the mid level rear wing - you'll probably remember from Neils time that the one I've got makes it really hard to see whats behind you - its at that 'bugger' level!

D8UGF - finally heres some pics of you car. Particularly like that side shot with the 'handcraft' sticker. Looks well smart!

How many flies did you kill on that bumper? Jar of sweets for the closest guess? hehe! Doug - FYI, I'm in Motherwell - not to far away.

Here's some of the clear indicators and sidies - yeah I know everyone's got them, but humour me!

Also, got my STi red/clear rear clusters fitted and it they look better than the originals which were tinted, then cleaned up very poorly. Thanks to SIDC's Danny for them ;-)

Cheers Marky,

One complaint: Could you not have driven ur car thru some mud or
something to make mine not look as bad?
Dont know if you saw my earlier post but if you want the spare set of front fogs you can have them.

Cheers'
(embarassed at the nick of my car compared to all the shiny ones on here!!!)

'Quote'"Thats so weird seeing your car, as previously owned by someone else......its like seeing a pic of you bird with someone before you. Weird eh?'

Or, another way to look at it could be: its like seeing a last photo of your mates bird who you quite fancied, going off with some other bloke!

Either way shes gonna make someone happy

Nice car D8UGF although I suspect a little Photoshop trickery ...
Theres no way you get a sky like that in skotchland !
Blue airbrush I think

Did you have lamps on your car and take them off btw? I was looking at getting some and fitting them, I wonder if the electrics are easy to do ?? If youve done it maybe you could, 'shine a light'.

Marky are you trying to get extra info from Japan on your car?? I too want some more info, ive contacted the Importer asking them for every scrap of detail they have on my car including anything Japanese writen, fingers crossed.
Let us know how you get on.

Haha Jaay,
If I'd used photoshop dont you think I would have made it look clean and shiny?
No I got the foglamps off a mate as the car has only ever had the covers, took the covers off(3 screws for face plate, 3 screws for mounting plate) and the plug for wiring the fogs in was already there. Plug it in and 3 screws to hold the light in place. Hey presto.... let there be light.
My car also had the fog light switch on the dashboard, next to the folding mirror buttons so I dont know how easy that would be to fit and wire in.

The last things I need to get hold off are:

1. Foglight covers - fancy being able to swap lights/covers whenever I get the notion.

2. Tint front windows and rear window - only have rear 2 tinted (weird jap logic there?).

3. Fit MRO grill with middle slat removed. Need to get an 'i' badge though.

4. 4 pots as my brakes are lethal.

5. Might put the Subaru chrome letter on the rear - not sure though.

6. Touring car sun visor thingy bob - black off course.

I want to be able to revert the car back to original status easily, so the mods are limited. After all of them, there really little else I fancy getting.

You guys got any plans for upgrading/replacing parts on your cars?

Mods I've made to my car, so far :-

1. 4 pots, 2 pots are plain dangerous on these cars !
2. 16 inch wheels, to accomadate 1.
3. Minor body mods, including the blue interior lamp upgrade.
4. New dashboard, to replace the moldy old one.

... and in the last week....

5. New AP Clutch, flywheel and release bearing.
6. Full Mongoose de-cat system, including front pipe

Next on the list are some kind of electronic boost/fuel control, either Apexi AVC-R/SAFC, or I might try installing the Apexi Power FC I've got on order from Japan.

Should get me close to 300bhp I reckon - managed 270bhp before the exhaust went on.
