Re "frikkin' joke".

I won't pay Sky for the box office stuff either, they can stick all 60 extra matches right up their jacksie. I'm not paying twice for the same thing, bugger that.

"things they used to watch for pennies". Oh yeah right and how much live footy was on the box prior to Sky?

Do you know how much it costs to go to a football match? And I don't just mean the admission fee, but the bill for the entire day. Travelling to/from, eating drinking etc.

The point I'm making is that you can only protest by withdrawing your support. Do what you used to do, listen to it on the radio, go down the pub, or do something else and stuff the greedy bleeders.

And as for the people who live and die for it.......

Coronation street, its really a joke soap isnt it? I have to tolerate the missus watching it sometimes, I just take the **** constantly out of the silly storylines and dull acting until she gives in. It works, trust me!

LOL

Couldn't have said it better. I was trying to be polite

If Peter's comments are right, then that just goes to prove that most of the worlds population are morons :P

Football attracts the largest audiences by far. The premier league gets worldwide audiences of 440 Million per week, the total viewers of france 98 was 38 Billion. The largest ever television audience for any event was a football match in China.

THIRTY EIGHT BILLION - my ****!!!!!!

The Earths total population is a fraction of that, and quite a few won't have TVs anyway

38 billion total viewers, therefore if I watched 40 matches, I was 40 viewers, etc.

Ive said it before and ill say it again.

ITV is the best thing that ever happened to F1.
BBC hardly EVER showed the whole race (in the days when that still had some sports left)

So we miss one race, who cares, better that than have the BBC slot 30mins between 3rd division football and athletics.
