Didnt the early cossies hold the record for being the most stolen car per number available?

spanners!!

"cossies-good engine(when running),rust buckets,poor image.
scoobies-good engine,good handling,cack interior(datsun style).

after owning both i can truly say that cossies are no where near as much fun as the impreza"

poor image!!! ROFL yeah right, nothing like the "look down your nose at others cos ive got a 10k car (even if i can get overtaken by rs turbo's, 5 turbo's etc etc etc)" image you lot have PMSL bad image PMSL

PS my car has NO rust, has all genuine panels, has its original engine

ive known scoobs sound like diesels cos they're slappy as **** after 50k whats good about that engine? LOL

is your idea of fun going slow in a straight line and holding total grip at all times cos your a total girls blouse?

just look at the amount of rust......astounding PMSL....

read em and weep girls (no offence lynne )

Is the mud on the left where you're getting ready to bury it?

Put the thing out of it's misery?

Redkop

Yaaawwwwwwwwwn

Cosworth were respected once but are now a joke - they're just clinging onto history with nothing good having come out of them for years - only thing that's come out of this that's any good, is a market for Cosworths badges so they can be stuck on Sierra/Escort 1.8 replicas

Offer me a 500BHP+ Supra and immunity for prosecution for the weekend and I'll turn it down in favour of a beaten up MkII 1600 Escort and a couple of miles of dirt track for the weekend. That latter would, IMHO, be far more fun.
At last a voice of reason....

Lol at jealous scooby owners knowing they bought the worst 2.0 litre turbo on the market with awful residuals a rubbish dealer network and totally 60's styling I just love the nissan bluebird interior Lol and that funny little underpowered engine LOL.
The reason you all think your cars handle so well is because you are going so slow in the first place.

Talking of residuals, Fords hold their money well don't they lol.

Only reason Cossies retain value is 'cos of you brainless RS lot willing to pay OTT for 70's and 80's styling and technology.

Then after you've done it, you (the clueless ones anyway) take the cars to GGR cos they've got nice shiney bits in the windows, pay shedloads and get not a lot

There are an alarming amount of people on this site that clearly do not know what the Impreza is really capable off! I regard myself as being a good driver and with time behind the wheel of a car I can figure out how to push it pretty far. I thought I was doing well with the scooby till I jumped into the car with Sipie again who's had a year of mis-spent eveings flying around the pentlands and what the car can do in his hands is phenominal. What's more Sipie is no driving expert, he's just willing to take her safely to the edge and has worked up his knowledge of where that edge is.

Too many non-risk taking types take out Impreza's, drive them fast and then Complain because they don’t seem to corner like they are hyped to do. The problem is they do but you just have to figure out how. Yes the impreza will flatter poor/normal drivers but that isn’t to say that good drivers can’t get them to go seriously quick. They are very impressive through the bends in my opinion but you really have to know what your doing to get that last 10% (and it’s that 10% that makes all the difference) In addition to this sipie hasn’t had prodrive geometry and bumpsteer done, so if he got that and relearned it’s limits it would be even quicker!

I still can’t believe people argue handling anyway. A racing driver in a transit van could beat an Impreza driver through the twisties if the Scooby driver was cack and didn’t know the roads. The car really has little to do with it!

No craig i took my car to GGR so I can absolutely anhilate people like yourself. I have double your power and torque yummy and its still only running to 80 percent of its capacity. LOL at your jealousy. I have asked 100 times but nobody can answer what exactly is so superior about your scoob. Nothing it is mechanically inferior. To use the old addage the Japenese never originate only imitate.
LOL at your magnex halfords exhausts and other budget tuning accessories used on your scoob's. Scooby sport exhausts = happy shopper.
You lot all bolt on a crumby exhaust and filter and think you have a beast. LOL once again at the dyno section its pathetic.

Lol at Saxo boy why not comedown to my neck of the woods you will be most welcome I am relishing the thought of blowing your car away and watching you thrash it to try and keep up and then seeing the bearings fail. I laughed so hard last time someone in a scoob wanted to drag and ended up with smoke pouring out from under the bonnet and what he didn't realise I hadnt got above 4,500 rpm and still blew the piece of jap crap to oblivion.
Seems like the bloke with the M3 and Porsche has bottled it after giving it the big one.

You forgot to add the "worth 9 grand with and rising steadily"
onto the end mate.
Like to see any 15 year old Impreza worth that in the future....

But they wouldn't be as stupid as buying a car like a subraru that is worthless as soon as it steps of the forecourt. a Mint Rs500 is worth more than a new scooby. Doesn't that tell you something about these cars and the peoples perception of them. You lot are just jealous plain and simple you have no fuel for your fire spout cack and then can't back it up.

Co55ie,

You have double my power eh? Well that I would like to see lmfao@you.

You still have never answered why NONE of the quickest Cossie in the country are tuned by GGR - why is that? Oh, cos they're not very quick. Doh!

You're car hasn't even come close to the times I've done at the pod so until it does, why not go munch on some carrots or something and try and increase your brain capacity to double cells lol.
Co55ie - what he lacks in brainpower he sure does make up in ignorance.

LMFAO@GGR man

edited to correct my own ignorance lol
