Wink

Does it attach to the bulk head too?

Amazed it manages to give that much extra rigidity with those bends to get around the TMIC?

Notice any difference to the handling?

Lets just say it is very light and very very strong. Handling wise, did not seem to get the usual judder/skip going round the usual corners this morning, other than that cant tell yet.

Pleased though

Hi fellas,

Only just noticed this thread (4 pages long)

As a rough guideline I took my brother's car to Well Lane a few weeks ago to get a benchmark before the new bits go on.

It's an MY97 with:

Blitz LM Induction
Full Jap Innovations decat
HKS EVC 4 set to 1.2 bar
Lightened pulleys
Uprated fuel pump

It got 272 bhp BUT was running WELL rich, the richest they've ever seen apparently (probably due to fuel pump) but good news for the forthcoming HOOOGE turbo.

The richness probably sapped Bhp and it was left idling on the rollers for AGES before running. Ambient temp for the day was 23 degrees (warm day).

So I'm sure with the pending mods listed you'll laugh in the face of 300bhp!

Cheers

Rich

p.s. my hybrid turbo is going on next week, just waiting of big MRT top mount intercooler!

Cheers

Rich

stevebt, i actually got them 2nd hand, so they only cost £350. But would happily pay more as the quality is excellent.

P20 SPD

I reckon as your car stands now, you'll be seeing around 270bhp & 250-260lbs/ft torque.

I run similar mods to yourself and managed 268bhp and 258lbs/ft during a warm day in the summer. The cold weather should see a 5-10bhp increase in performance. If you check out Stephen Done's website (ECUTEK developer & all round ecu master) you will get some idea of your cars potential. With the TEK 3 and a few well thought out mods the car should be up to 295-300bhp and 305lbs/ft. HOWEVER, if you intend to go over this make sure you spend money on improving the internals of your car. Otherwise it could all go POP.

All IMHO.

Enjoy.
