You have to take the bottom part of the console out to get at the back of the *** lighter,then trim down the back of the led then insert from the back of the lamp holder so the back of the led is sticking out of the back of the metal holder,then reconect the lamp power.

Tried to do the conversion on an STI 5 bulbs are way too big for the holders except for one.
Need really small bulbs, cant seem to get hold of Paul at Gecko, are you out there Paul, if so could you please contact me with details of smaller bulbs please?

ok, i've decided i really want to do this to my P1. the interior is currently totally stripped out, so getting to the bulbs aint gonna be a problem.
who do i see to get this done, and how much are the bulbs?

We are waiting for the new batch of 5mm lamps to come in when I know I will let everyone else know.

? ummmmmmm yes to the Red ones and Yello Green and Blue.
Soon to be in 5mm type as well for the new age lot as well as anything else that takes them.
I will try and get hold of Paul @ Gecko for you and let him know whats going on if not you will have to deal with me for the lamps
I know he has been very busy of late doing other stuff he's involved in as well, I will say sorry on his behalf and try and get him on scoobynet for you ASAP

I think I'll be posting a cheque too soon - they look excellent. I'm planning on combining the blue dash with a set of HKS's indiglo gauges - if anyone has this arrangement already I'd love to see a few pics.

2 messiah : same reason here...i do have hks gauges...just need 5 w5w lamps but i aint see that coming...you can try http://blauertacho.k-k.de/ for online shop...only reason i didn't order until now is that i don't know how many small bulbs i need for other-than-dash conversion...

CeeDee - I remember seeing those pics you posted of the HKS guages, they looked fantastic - I think coupling them to blue dials will look stunning. Hoe about posting that tunnel pic again?
