Cos we like the taste. You can go to a half decent restaurant and get tasteless food too. At least you save money at Maccy D's

 

I worked at McD's for a few months after I had been made redundant from my old Job, as I preferred the idea of working to going on the dole.

The hygene standards there are amazing. Whole truckloads of food are sent away if the contents temperature is even 1 degree higher or lower than it should be. The fries are just spuds I'm afraid! All the ingredients are fresh and well cooked. Fast food isn't meant to be cordon bleu.

I'm quite happy eating there when I have a bad case of the munchies when in town, and my (mostly chocolate at the mo) diet allows!

Bk has 100% more meat than maccy d's I can eat three big mac meals at one sitting compared to one double whopper meal. Which is better value ?
Macdonalds tastes like cardboard unlucky fried kitten is all skin and bones no actual meat and so in my humble, obviously more important than yours opinion, Bk is the best ****e fast food [place of the lot.

I personally really like BK fries and the burgers are tastier than Macs, but agree I have seen the microwave being used

As for macs, we are always buying mass orders for work and they always forget more than one thing, but twice now in the last month we have been served with buns that have had green mould on them !!! so much for the high standards of hygene!!

Name and shame - Mac's Peggy Bedford restaurant on the A4 Bath Road, heathrow, get your bloody act together!!, a one hour wait for 3 big brekkies and a double sausage is not on. neither are mouldy buns.

Tip - always write a letter of complaint if you have had substandard food/service to the head office of any of theses fast food joints and just watch the letter of apology and a voucher(£10 upwards) arrive on your doorstep.

McD's do use 100 beef meat in their burgers. The fries are produced from potatoes and a re not reconsituted in anyway. McD's actually have farms that grow the special type of potatoes for them, along with tomatoes and eggs.

The level of hygene in a McD's kitchen is amazing, there were studies done and McD's came out on top, "proper" eating establishments were rated much worse.

You can get a McD's at Heathrow terminal 4.

In the end which you prefer is personal choice.

 

I prefer BK over McD's any day. I've lost count of the number complaint letters I've had to write to Ronald McDonald due to poor service, cold food etc, but I've never had cause for complaint with BK.

Round my way, they opened a BK drive-thru and there have been vouchers everywhere for the past 3 months - "buy one meal, get one free". I live on the sh*T, had one tonight actually.
In one week I actually had eight meals (think I tried the whole range)
Two XL Bacon Double-cheeseburger meals for £4.99 is a bargain in my book. I felt really rough after eating both of those though
I wish they were always such good value but I agree that at RRP they are an absolute rip off (will still buy them though)!
But the Kebab will always be the daddy, Large donor with xtra chilli sauce and garlic mayonnaise. OMG I am making myself seriously fecking hungry

You should avoid fast food because of its poor nutritional values, ie high carbohydrate and saturated fat content (there is also a lot of debate on chemical additives). Taste is a matter of taste.

 

But it tastes sooooooo good!

I only eat fast food 'in addition' to a balanced diet
