WRX STI 2014 onwards

Had mine 4 years and only used as a weekend car, they definitely are unique on the roads as you’ll not see many. Feels solid to me, not the best stereo and the sound in stock form is not the best. Get low 20’s for MPG around town but as you know everywhere is busy these days with traffic. On motorway especially if I have the kids you can get low 30’s driving at 70 and not pushing to hard. Plenty of space in the car and the boot is useful with ample space. Biggest bugbear for me is the road tax which is the high end of £550, but then to insure is only around £400.

Ok, removing the resonator would free up a bit more noise but would it improve flow?
Are you saying that changing the rear boxes ONLY can yield a 40bhp increase with a map tweak?
I’m intrigued, are you sure the standard system will not flow well enough for 340bhp?
would be interesting to see a map/graph of the standard car and one with a cat back?

It's still on the oe catalyzers, with a panel filter and fpr, but currently sitting at 357bhp, so there is plenty of potential for tuning without the expense of a sports cat or decat.
