Yeh, they don't look odd at all when you see the car, it was just a very exaggerated angle in the other pic.

You also have a lovely **** mate. Haha. Are you still loving the new car?

Love those silver exhaust bumper trim bits on your car. Do you know how much they are to buy? Madness.

The start of a long painful slippery slope.

SC42 billet turbo
RCM GT Spec 3 bolt headers
Harvey trick up-pipe.

Now need to source injectors, intake pipe, gaskets etc and I'm pretty much ready.

I'm probably getting the ID1050's from AS Performance. Alyn has already quoted me and they are plug and play.

Yes, after much stress I managed to get it this morning. Yes it's the new style SC42 with black housing.

So my parts department in the garage is still stocking up ready for the upgrades.

Last week I received the SC42 billet, RCM headers and harvey up-pipe which I'm pleased to say are all in great condition. The headers and up-pipe are also fully wrapped and done very well indeed. Saves me yet another job.

I also spotted a very nice looking almost brand new H&S 3" decat downpipe which was fully DEI wrapped so also purchased that to fit at the time. My car already has a decat downpipe on it, but I think it's only a Japspeed one and doesn't have the correct OEM donut flange, so wanted a better quality one instead. Plus I don't think the Japspeed downpipe is 3" all the way through like the H&S one, so this should help the turbo a little.

Last night I also purchased a Perrin turbo inlet hose. Christ those things are expensive for what they are. Was going to get a cheaper un-branded or alternatively branded one but Kev from ScoobyClinic urged me to get the Perrin one as from their experience they just don't collapse under boost. So that's on order now too.

Looks like I'll also get the crazy expensive Perrin FPR setup for this car as I've heard very good things about them.

So I'm gradually getting there now. Not much left to get. 4 bar map sensor, few more gaskets, injectors either new or re-flowed then ready for fitting & mapping.

Kev is trying to persuade me to go Syvecs on the car again, which I'm desperately trying to resist.

I’ve got a mishimoto turbo inlet hose but haven’t had it fitted yet as it’s a inlet manifold job. Would try myself but I just don’t have the time.

In theory you can fit them without taking the inlet manifold off, but they are a total pain in the **** and take a long time to get in there. It's realistically takes probably just as long to take the inlet manifold off and fit it that way. I'm half tempted to fit everything myself and half tempted to leave it to either Rich @ FB or ScoobyClinic. Not sure yet, depends which direction I end up going in with injectors, mapping etc.

mess trying for nearly an hour and a half to get mine after easily removing the oem pipe. Just couldn’t get it on the end of the turbo so I gave up.

Cheers bud. Bought a Perrin 4 bar direct fit map sensor last night.

Know what you mean about injectors. Kev said they could remove, de-cap, reflow and match my current injectors to 850cc which I know is more than enough for my goals, but for the sake of it I might still go for a brand new set of ID1050's.
