No-one I know was born with any kind of spoon, let alone silver.

However, you have now allowed the feline to depart from it's sack: you are a socialist.

Aspertine is unbelievably worse for you than sugar, for one the body can't actually process it and get rid of it properly and it just builds up, secondly it's actually a proven neurotoxin and should never have even been allowed in food or drinks full stop.

For anyone familiar with the MONSANTO CORPORATION you'll soon realise why it got pushed through and managed to get in the food chain.

It's nothing to do with sugar. It's about the facts kids don't buy one chocolate bar. They buy a pack of three. It's about the fact parents have a trolley full of crisps and pop and no veg.

I know people will say 'rose tinted spectacles' and all that, be we had ONE ten pence mix a week (yeah you did get quite a bit for 10 then.lol) or a quarter of something and pop was a once in a blue moon treat. And yes there probably was about one chubby kid at school.

We are a daft spoilt greedy society with not an ounce of common sense

And yes water is my normal drink of choice. From the tap too. Not £1.50 for a bottle of it

I thought £3 for 6 was expensive...it is compared to the pop on offer in France.

Over there, and in the rest of Europe, afaik, plus definitely Australia, Schweppes do a really nice fizzy drink called Agrum'.

Agrumes is french for "Citrus", and it contains mandarin, grapefruit and lime.
But will they produce it for the UK market? Will they hell.

One in twenty 10/11 yr old children in the UK are severely obese. That has increased 1% point since 2007. This is just ridiculous now with obesity being the biggest public health issue and potential time bomb for the UK

Tax fast food and unhealthy foods to a high level to discourage the use and promote healthy eating of vegetables reduced portion sizes

You will have the choice, pay the price increase on unhealthy foods or buy healthy cheaper foods. We are all guilty of it, less incentive to buy cheap rubbish, the better

We could make this so much more simple....if you have more than 25% body fat = no NHS treatment for anything. Pay for your own healthcare belly boy!

Too many people doing desk jobs that think 30mins of cross-fit fixes everything

Ah...but my OP points out that you are not being given the choice. The major supermarkets are NOT stocking full sugar drinks. That was my whole point! The choice is being taken away from us.....
