riiida thanks.
I actually spoke to them a couple of weeks ago, nice guys. The benefit of their 'unwired' version is that it can be removed on selling the car and it can be placed somewhere in the car where the thieves don't expect it ie porsche's own tracking system is always in the same place.
It also uses UHF as well as GSM, the latter can easily be blocked with a £10 device from ebay.
I already have already subscribed to the porsche tracking service just because its easy with the insurance company but may well get one of these as a second device. As I said the Porsche tracker is actually useless, its always in the same place and blocked with a £10 gadget.
Cheers

I'm not on anything. I follow the simple rule: trust but verify. Everyone else on this forum posts pics of their cars either doing something or parked up somewhere, never in a showroom.
While I'm on I thought I'd let you see a pic of my private jet. I'm sure you believe it's mine.

Must have left your keys outside of their Faraday cage again!
Honestly mate, this is stunning. I think I still prefer the colour of your last one, that looked lush. Someone else also thought so too unfortunately. But I do love a white car. Looks mint!
You'll have to post a pic of it parked in front of your council house just for Paben!

I doubt you'll find many owners who post pics of their cars while the car is still in the showroom, and this is a serious vehicle. I have many pictures of F1 cars, but to claim ownership of one while it was parked in a Ferrari or Mercedes pit garage would doubtless have heads shaking in disbelief. Were it to be pictured parked on my driveway with me, wife and cat sitting on it looking pleased with ourselves, now that would be an entirely different matter.

Ok, lets try and put this one to bed.
One pic on my drive (see my grey 991 pics and you'll see the same hedge and block paving) and one pic when I was out today. Sorry but I didn't fancy a McDonalds today.
Now these ARE NOT my cars but were at the dealers so I thought I'd share them because they looked lovely.
