For certain Illnesses cannabis can be a very good form of pain relief, yes. Good examples of this are cancer and MS.

I was prescribed Tramadol. it gave me hallucinations...very real ones.

Two involved seeing my mother.......long dead. It was more than upsetting, because your brain doesn't say, "Hello? i'm having a hallucination".
It believes what it sees.......and the mental pain afterwards was intense.
So I will no longer take those.

What I can't get my head round is that folk who don't really know pain, only others' pain, are making decisions that should ONLY be taken by those actually aware of what it's like to be in constant pain. In my case, nine years.

 

I got put in tremadol few years back when I had my knees done it put me in a right state honestly I went back to the gp he said I need another op so I've not bothered him since a good 20 walk in the swimming pool then jacuzzi keeps the arthritis at bay instead

A few others I know have had some real bad experiences off these hardcore pain drugs there must be a better way to relieve the long time pain related illnesses...
