You can have a living room that looks like a scene from Star Trek if you like and I won't question your life choices.

For my first technical support role we had open PC's on our desks so we could swap out hard drives and graphics cards. It's was awesome, I was very young.

That PC is in my profile pic along with my first Mac desktop.

Exactly, removing the screen on such an expensive bit of kit is not something im prepared to do or pay someone else to do as it won't go back the same as it came out the factory.

The new ImacPro looks tasty, recon you'll get change out of £4k?

Jack do we have any idea when the revised Mac Pro (workstation) is coming out?

No, but I'd like one. I think you can spec it way higher than £4k.

I was in such shock at discovering that Apple products were vulnerable to dust that it's taken me an entire week to respond to this thread (this includes recovery time from injuries sustained falling off my chair when I first read Jack's OP).

What's almost as shocking though is that a company that demonstrates such a cavalier attitude to its customer's safety and well-being is allowed to continue trading. I will be writing to my MP and demanding a parliamentary enquiry be launched asap, and I encourage you all to do the same.

Just turned this on! Blimey, I know they're not first but Apple win when it comes to just working.
