Joking aside if you get really attached to a car in your term, can you just replace it with same model at the end? or does it depend on the contract? So are you obliged to change the car if you continue the contract? My argument is if you really like the car and you cant keep it without paying the balloon paym you're kinda forced into buying something else which you might not like at all.

Dealers will finance the balloon payment if you want to keep the car but don't have the cash. When my Fiesta ST deal ended I was offered finance to clear the balloon payment, it was fixed at 2.1% apr.

In the 3 previous PCP deals I've had, the GMFV has ALWAYS been lower than the value of the car. In the case of my Fiesta I pocketed £1750 which I used as the deposit for my Focus ST.

I've not been attached to a car for a long time. 24/36 months and I'm happy to try something different. In a couple of months I'll be looking at changing it for an RS/A45/M140i

*edit - I could change my 2 year old Focus ST for a new one if I wanted. Ford still offering new STs on 0% finance.

Are you talking about my username or the car? I also meant to include Maserati Gransport. You can pick one up for $25000 with very few miles on the clock.

I'm selling my BMW E46 M3 if anyone's interested?
New MOT this week....
Apart from getting a Type R, I would actually love a Series A Opel Manta..Yellow, matt black bonnet, black vinyl interior, fake wooden dash and Elvis shades..

What kind of taxes? Is it really that expensive to own a car in the UK? Just curious. That just seems to come up a lot in several magazines and forums that I read.
