Spot on Rob day.
Re saabs, always liked the 99turbo (2door) think it has better proportions than the 900.
I like the design of Citroen CX.
Not really that old, or could be considered as good looking, but is it just me that thinks the original Subaru Tribeca was ahead of its time, looks like a new Kia Sportage in my opinion.
Drive past an Alpine every day sat on the drive. Lovely. I'd have it in the garage though.lol. Except weekends
I owned a GTA around 10 years ago, it was probably the most fun car I have ever owned, but what a pain in the **** it was with the plagued French electrics of that era. I have in lock up a A310 ex lemans from my late father, which has been in the family for around 25 years. It needs a colossal amount of work to get it back on the road, but someday I'm sure it will, maybe when I have retired as a project, so when I'm in my 70 then, or maybe 80 given the recent vote
My dad had an Alpina back in the mid 90's, but I cant recall which model, but it had a custom paint job that faded from silver to dark grey front to back, looked awesome, sounded awesome. That would be on my list too if I could recall which model.
Ford Angla lowered with wide wheels .
Alan Mann mk 1 Escort
Dave Brodie Escort "Run baby Run "
Pictures would be good but a hairy arsed old trucker doesn't have a clue!
In terms of which car has aged the best, I think the mk1 Audi TT tops them all; a car that came out 1999 and replaced 11 years ago, and yet still manages to looks current.

Growing up my uncle was into his italian cars and one his best cars that i used to love to go in was his fiat strada abarth 130tc(red) 2.0l twin cam and went very well. Followed by his brand new mk2 fiat uno turbo in 1990. Felt like a rocket back then.

I could very well be wrong as it's going back 30 years, but I'm sure I remember the Alpina you mention, and I am pretty certain it was the B6 3.5S (based on an e30 M3) that had the silver to grey faded paint job.
This was around the same time as Vauxhall brought out a mk2 Astra called the Quicksilver I believe, which had a very similar paint job.
