420bhp on low,502 bhp on high.a different fuel pump and set up would of probably got it high 500s.it was on a sto5b turbo if I recall.it sounded like a fighter jet on boost.

Yeah man, I won't be doing it regularly, tbh I'll probably never do it again or maybe a few times in the summer but that'll be it.

Nice car Ryan. Did they run out of paint when they painted the wings? They missed some bits!

It's in the garage just now, dropped it off yesterday. He's fairly sure it's a weak spring in the dump valve, something simple and stupid anyway.

It actually idles fine, it's only when approaching junctions or coming to a stop so with those symptoms which he's seen before it's been the bov.

That's the idle fixed, picking it up tomorrow.

They're going to stick it on the rollers to check the afr etc which makes sense seeing as though the car is there.

The car pulls extremely well so I'd expect everything to be spot on.

Just make sure you don't launch the car unless you are 100% certain it has an RS diff as it's going to break. I need an rs diff for mine so power is going to be kept low until I decide to add one as ayc suits me more than RS diff.

Standard diff so I'll refrain from launching it.

That's the car back home now, the issue is now fixed so no more cutting out when coming to a stop.

I'm just in from taking the missus out for a blast, she had to sit in the back due to the bucket seats and her having a massive ****......let's just say she's not happy!

Apparently it's way too fast and she kept saying "why the **** do you need something like that for the road"......I couldn't stop laughing, we went to the shops first for her to buy a bottle of wine, she was gripping it tightly, so tightly she's complaining of sore hands now

Anyway.....next on the agenda is a set of defi gauges and that's it, maybe a set of wheels and tyres but I'll see. I'll hold off until 3k before the next service, it's done roughly 1k since the last service.

I went for my first proper drive in the Evo yesterday, the weather was awesome and the roads were dry

Sadly the dreaded ayc lights came on, I stopped switched the car off and back on again and they went off......thank god. But they came back on again 20 miles later

I've managed to get error code 82 so I'll need to look in to this a bit more but it seems that's the start of the problems

Once I know what's exactly wrong I'll decide what to do, RS diff might be an option but **** paying 4.5k for a new kit.......if I managed to sell the hatch in the not too distant future then chances are I'll go that route.

Other than that it was superb, I had a bit of fun with a gsxr 1000 at one point, in fact when I was hounding him that's when the lights came on, he quickly pulled in to let me by. After that I had a Ducati try his luck but he was quickly dispatched.

I have just bought a complete RS diff setup for mine and it was £1400, £1500 seems to be a going rate and some traders on MLR selling them for £1800 with guaranteed low miles.

MLR seems a bit pish, stuck a thread up this morning asking about the error code 82 and there's been sweet FA back, not even the usual dogs abuse that you get from the ***** that grace forums.

Tell me more! Just had a look and can't see anything, I'm not a fully fledged member yet so I can't access everything but I seem to be able to see all the trader stuff.

Mlr think or in my opinion seem to think they are better than Subaru or other cars! Just persevere or google the error code. Being an MLR member has saved me a fortune on parts and there is some nice people on there

You now have an evo so you need to be asking on MLR for issues, get registered for the sprints. I'm hoping to make the castle Combe sprint but there is still a lot of work to do to my car so I will see

I have asked but I get better responses on here. Maybe becoming a member will help, what do you think of that diff I posted above? Seems like a possible option if my ayc pump is goosed, it might be ok and something simple like the pressure switch. I'm preparing for worst case scenario though.

Apparently it's super strong, I'll give Simon a call or email to see what he says, chances are he'll say it's good etc but from what I can see from folk online the only downside is having to swap the oil out every 3k but that's no biggy, I can handle that knowing that there will be know more issues.

I've just paid for the membership on there the now.

Once I know what's up with mine I'll decide, if it's goosed then having it rebuilt is a possibility.
