The reason I voted out is still valid.

Over here in France, the TV is full of the rescue package put together by the French government and SNCF, (aka the French government), for Alsthom, a private company.

They have basically ordered loads of stuff for lines not even built yet, and new locos despite the FACT that there are hundreds of locos only a few years old lying idle in marshalling yards all over France.

So they've body-swerved the EU regs in order to prop up a private company. What they have ACTUALLY done is to spend public money propping up a private company...but will the EU say anything? Nope.

Yet when WE wanted to help the UK steel industry........fines were threatened, sanctions were mooted. And our government did as it was told...again.

OUT OUT OUT!!!

Of course we did, but so what? What's that to do with the UK government buying FRENCH steel?

The same thing in the way the British public were given no choice whatsoever in the matter.

This:-

www.migrationwatchuk Britain has experienced many relatively small episodes of immigration over the centuries. For nearly a thousand years migration was on a very small scale compared to the size of the population. In the decades between the Second World War and the late 1990s, foreign immigration grew steadily at a relatively modest rate before declining in the late 1960s and becoming fairly stable between 1971 and 1981. The massive increase in the level of migration since the late 1990s is utterly unprecedented in the country’s history, dwarfing the scale of anything that went before.
Net migration of 327,000 last financial year, a large city's worth.
Anyone disagree that this is not sustainable?
