I was expecting something like the P1, WR1 or RB320 maybe edging them out, but still time.

I'd be interested to know which car people outside Subaru circles think is the sexiest, the 22B or S207 NBR Challenge package yellow edition!

It'd be nice to drive each around for 2 hours to see which turns more heads!

I've learnt a lot from compiling this list, I always thought the 2003 WRX/STI V-Limited was a 2003 & 2004 car but it seems the '2003' is just a reference to celebrate rally success in 2003. I didn't realise the 2004 STI 2003 V-Limited was a Spec C either!

Links like this have exacerbated my confusion

http://www.subaru-impreza.de/Sonderserien/V-Limited.htm

Made me think there was a '2004 WRX 2003 V-Limited' and a '2004 WRX 2004 V-Limited' lol.

If only there was a website that had gathered all the JDM information & paid for it to be professionally translated, then created a comprehensive database & shared it to the Subaru community!

If only such a place existed

I don't think you quite get all my misconceptions have been corrected by your laboriously put together lists!

I don't think it's classed as a recognised production model. Or I'd have every ESX Impreza on the list.

I think it might have been interesting if I did STI V EVO list to see what came out on top, maybe just listing the top 30 or so STI's from this list to make it easier to take in. Obviously I'd have to share the link on a lot of neutral outlets.

It's not.

it has a Spec-C roof flap and front Suretrac diff from the Spec C, but is otherwise equipped as per the non Spec C JDM.

Cheers, bud, it was this that threw me http://www.subaru-impreza.de/Sonders...tedspecC04.htm, I should have known it was a 2005 Limited from the rear arch extensions and Type RA.com listing the same pic as a 2005!!!! But getting there finally.

I've started grouping cars together that have no discernible differences to help limit the insane amount of choices to scroll through. Like the 2003-2005 Blobeye WRX. I might give the list a 'favourite Imprezas title' too so we don't just have the 22B in the lead with a random top 10.

EDIT: Also I find it strange the Subaru I say is the best off all time has the most dislikes by some way! - you rotters!

I've given up! It's not a non-JDM, it's not a Rally car, it's not a concept car, it's not the Casa Blanca, it's not an Operetta replica

I think it was a case of vote 22B then rank all the other contenders down, especially the 2004 WRX V-Limited , so I've changed the poll from best WRX to best WRX's.

Has it been left off because the model codes are the same as the Type R? Like the infamous "Signature Edition."

Didn't Subaru make a 1995 STI?

Learn to use this properly and it may just answer your question Matt

I've added it to the timeline now. The MY99/00 N/A SRX

It's been left off because like the "Signature Edition" it doesn't exist

You need to rethink how you think about the "years" Matt. MY means "Model Year". Usually (but not always) September to August & 1 year in front. Hence the confusion in manufacture dates & Model year

It was with type-ra saying a CG8 was left off the list! I thought I had it!

http://www.carfolio.com/specificatio...ar/?car=134981 no engine code, it would have helped.

No engine code! but big Tony has cleared it up anyway!

That's what originally messed me up, the original site I used was a year behind all the cars on Type RA!

I kinda moved all the dates back a year and the 1996 STI became a 1995 STI etc. Ball ache. But I'm removing cars not listed on RA, surprised the SRX was listed being an NA.

It's all a learning curve

We have spent a huge amount of time & money gathering the correct info & having it professionally translated

Hopefully most of it is correct

Can't fault it, definitely bookmarked. It's certainly all been informative, I thought the poll was going to be a bit of a copy n paste but I've garnered a lot of info on the way.

I still have all the non-JDM models and 2010 onwards JDM models to tweak now :0 ...and perhaps a small description about each car.

Splendid
Just be sure you don't confuse 2010 models with MY10 models

What model is this then if it's not a V3, is it a V4?

I think the fact it says "STI V3" on the plate gives it away.
