Really Alan?? Representing your business that has a great reputation on here and though I have not used you for work, fully intend to after some great free advice on 2 occasions, lowering yourself to insulting people?! That is why people will link you to Kev at ScoobyClinic.
Uncle Creepy - your mothers jokes are for the playground are they not? Really poor taste.
Trinity your statement from post 780ish was spot on, why start insulting someone as it just diminishes your validity.
Back on topic -> the behaviour of the employees and boss of ScoobyClinic has been disgraceful and this episode will not only have an immediate effect on the business, though this thread will serve as a millstone around their necks for some time to come. I think that the OP has gone about this in the right way and that this thread should not be de-railed and consequently locked to show support for a fellow Subaru enthusiast.

Maybe one of the mods would be kind enough to tidy things up a little,it has gone 'off track' a fair bit and now it full of 'holes' which makes it a 'bumpy ride' when trying to read.
Some of the blind loyalty in this thread is laughable.
Since having my own child and buying a house i no longer go out, instead i am forced to watch Eastenders at evenings with my mrs, there is a couple of characters in the program, a mother called Jane and a child called Bobby, Bobby has murdered his sister, pushed Jane down some stairs and is generally a proper horrible ******* but no matter what the little **** does Jane defends him and takes his side.

Please forgive me for treating somebody I considered an idiot like an idiot. It's hard to do otherwise when you're "Mr Grumpy"
I've had one or two people who started on me as I had a very slightly different point of view on certain "facts". As none of us apart from Scoobyclinic and the victim of one man's stupidity have been directly involved in any of it, I figured I'm entitled to an opinion just the same as anybody else and preferably without being attacked for it.
Please forgive me for treating somebody I considered an idiot like an idiot. It's hard to do otherwise when you're "Mr Grumpy"

I have two hats. Sometimes I forget which one I'm wearing! Whatever, in a very short amount of time, nothing will matter to any of us anywhere. When the Major was running around with a gun going "Vermin, Fawlty" my doppelganger Basil said "The war was a while ago, forgive and forget Major".

I watched a video longer than 4/5 seconds , im sure most other people did
I believe that it could have been sorted out internally and before now too
Time to reflect on recent events.
As everyone knows Scoobyclinic had a media frenzy last week due to some in car video footage showing one of our guys hitting pot holes on our lane, alleged to be deliberate.
The video, all 4/5 seconds of it, does look bad and I am not about to make excuses, I would have liked the opportunity to sort this internally but the footage was withheld from the company until the daily mail went live with it, I would like to point out that these were the actions of one employee and they should not be taken as a representation of scoobyclinic as a company,
We publicly apologise to Ben Newbery and offer to pay for a full check-over of his vehicle at RCMS in Leicester.
It does however shock me at some members of the Subaru community and their actions, personal E mails threatening to burn us down, E mails referring to us using words I cannot type on social media, E Mails hoping we go bust, threats of taking our teeth out with an iron bar then taking what's left of the bar to all the cars on site, answer phone messages the same, not nice, not nice at all.
If we apply the same logic to the Subaru community as “the percentage” has to us then the whole community would be deemed to be the same as the people who wrote those Threatening E mails and posts, they judge the actions of one person being a representation of the company and the 17 other lads that work here, however we wont apply that logic as haters are a small percentage of the community who ought to take a good look at themselves in the mirror, if this how they interact with society in general, then society be warned.
As stated luckily the Subaru community isn't made up of these haters, there are a few, always will be but a massive thanks goes out to everyone who has supported us, fought our corner and to yesterdays mini meet where our customers old, new and future came up to show their support for us.
What's the future goint to bring ?, who knows, we will do is our best to carry on and serve our customers, one good thing that has come out of this is we have upped our game and learned, putting rules in place to make sure it cannot happen again.
“A man who makes no mistakes – makes nothing.” “If you are working and attempting new things, you will make mistakes. Each mistake is a learning process that moves you forward. You improve and create new things in your world. This is how progress is made.” (Edward Phelps)
Again big thanks to everyone who has fought our corner and showed us support.......

Great stuff, no mention of what has happened to the people involved or any mention of fixing the road. Just a huge attempt to deflect attention away from the incident and get people to feel "sorry" for them about the bad press they've received. And where has 4/5 seconds come from...the video was miles longer than that and everyone has seen it? This company are a joke.

2. What steps where taking post incident to the employee after your own investigation?
3. At least that is something, albeit a little late.
4. Enthusiasts where apalled by the handling of the situation, so it is just that a few members would of expressed their anger - again, replying to each of those emails showing what went wrong, how it was dealt with, what future policies have been put in place would of diffused that quite quickly - Instead, you abused the owner and then whined about people being upset about it.
5. Did you not threaten legal action against Ben and his footage, yet now claim others being threatening is not acceptable? and 'warning' the world over a huge percentage of your customer base? Wow.
6. We bought all the local chavs beer and burgers to protect us.
7. Well done, almost there! Almost understanding!
8. Have you fixed the pot holes yet or at least written to the owner/council/whoever to have it repaired?
This is an appalling statement, it really is. Its basically an acknowledgement there was a complaint made, and then how badly they feel done by because the community that pays their wages and lets them lead quite a good lifestyle, where offended by initially the situation but then, more so, because of the response from the owner....can;t say this statement is going to diffuse any bad feelings, just make people more angry. Kevs even had enough time to consult a spindoctor (good solicitor) but instead is playing the victimised card. Pretty awful I must say.

Seems Kev and Scoobyclinic thought fan boys are the majority of their customers and was arrogant enough to take their custom for granted.
Finally realised this isnt the case, this last statement is nothing but a pathetic, insincere attempt at damage limitation.
Too little too late.

4-5 seconds!!! Yes if u create a bloody time lapse video!
If it's true about all the threats they have received, that is indeed ridiculous.

So the road has been sorted out then? This is what I don't understand. Why on earth have SC not spent a bit of money on sorting that road out. If it's a place to test cars, which clearly it is, then surely you'd want it to be a nice surface?
