basically we got recommended to use them for their 340 upgrade by a guy off here. I contacted John there and all sounded good, my dad visited them and test drove the demo car and all seemed fine. We then agreed to have the work done which iirc was back in October and then pretty much no contact, we e-mailed them time and time again with no response, phoned just to be told he's out with a customer he'll call you back, he's on the phone ill get him to ring you back and nothing!.

We then left it till after xmas and tried again through e-mail, yep you guessed it nothing, we then tried contacting by phone once more and spoke to a guy called Adam and explained to him what was going on and we was being ignored, he said ill sort this and call you back which he did, we then exchanged 3-4 e-mails that day and was told once he had spoken to the exhaust fabricator he would contact us back. We then waited and waited and again nothing, sent 3-4 e-mails to him and again nothing, so another two phone calls the first one he's on the other line blah blah and nothing, so the last try and finally got through to Adam and asked what was going on and why are we being ignored to which he said I havnt received your e-mails yet he has a delivered and read on his e-mail so I know he read it and he just said "oh yeah I do remember ill phone the exhaust place again and call you back", that was 2 weeks ago and low and behold "nothing".

So basically in the end it just wasted our time and we felt like we were begging for them to do the upgrade and take our 3 grand. So now after a bit of research the 340 upgrade they offer isn't actually 340 as the most these make in standard form is around 280bhp and the upgrade offers 40 bhp so in all fairness its 320. Although the upgrade is warranted that was a big factor in going for it but like I said to my dad if we cant even get contact with them trying to give them 3k what chance in hell do we have if we need a warranty claim !!

So now we are having a live map, invidia exhaust, rcm fuel pump (not included in the mangolesti upgrade) heat grade 7 plugs which comes in at 2k so although there isn't a warranty we are actually saving 1k against their package and we are getting a uprated fuel pump and higher expected figures from a live map not a generic map.

Mine had the 340R package when I bought it 2011 STI and it felt slow. My mate's Dis Astra VXR kept up with me. On dyno it was 326bhp. So API forged it, now it's 403bhp and it feels like a proper Subaru. Just need the Nameless Performance exhausts next :-)

Here's a few pics from today, obviously filthy dirty from all the traveling but she's now got the invidia exhaust fitted, front splitter and live mapped by Bob Rawle today,

How did you get on with the map neeban?
Lots more mid range torque to be had out of these cars and being able to dial out the fly by wire throttle delay makes a big diferance too. I love the flat shift and launch control you get on the racerom.
Bet your well happy with it over stock

Just finishing up an oval tip exhaust. It's nice but I think I prefer the quad exit.

Looks good mate, we was gonna go single exit each side until I came across the Invidia system and just loved the way it looked. As for the map yeah its definitely livened the car up, Bob mapped 1 bar off boost under sport setting and 1.5 bar on sport plus, goes really well and with the exhaust sound and intake noise its much better.

Another exhaust to consider is R400 Invidia, with titanium tips sounds awesome, on a cat back :0)

Thinking of going remap, lots of people say go thwaites, Mark?

Wheres Bob Rawle based?

Thinking going 2nd decat with invidia r400 and pro r panel filter, then itll still be mot legal ;0)

yes I would....but you never said that originally that's why I wondered why you would keep going back.

I can’t decide for anyone where they want to go for a map
But I wouldn’t let Bob Rawle remap a kids toy car
That’s my experience with him

My experience with bob seemed ok, we used a company called Subaru for you in newbury where bob visits and live maps cars. We had them fit the exhaust, plugs and uprated fuel pump then bob mapped it after. Think in sport mode it’s now 350bhp but as everyone knows going to mad on the standard 2.5 engine is risky plus it’s not used very often it’s just turnt 7,000 Miles 😂 iirc.
