Yes! I've got original bought Elvis, Buddy, Tommy Steel, Lonnie Donnegan etc. on 78's

Not going this summer, but went to the Christmas one last year and probably again this year, brilliant weekend, am jealous of you in July! I know the organisers, Ritchie Gee and Frank, who lives near me. You should definitely get jiving again, if I can do it there's no excuse for you

I once drunkenly picked up a young lady at a dance and arranged to meet her next day in Woolies (going back a bit I know). She turned up with her equally attractive slightly older sister.

My dilemma was I could not remember for the life of me which one of the two I was supposed to be meeting.

I held back until luckily the younger one moved forward and took my arm and asked where were we going to go. Phew. And no I didn't at some point get off with the sister.

I touched base with the organiser yesterday and we are definitely confirmed for a 20 car stand.

They have an audible update which can be found on the following link

Also for those who use Facebook there is now a page set up which can be found by searching

Again, as previously discussed we will organise meeting points, convoys and times nearer to the event.

Im in the Southend area mate,Im guessing that myself and a couple of others will be meeting at the Sainsburys at Rayliegh Wier if you want to meet us there.Will arrange properly nearer the time but offer is there if you want.
