How would you deal with this
#31
Walk away from it Lou, what's happened has happened and there's not one thing you can do to change that. Focus on yourself and your goals rather than dancing to somebody else's tune.
As for Megatron, go find Tweaky's girlfriend thread as that was a great case of seeking advice for personal issues

Thank you SJ Skyline, good advice and appreciate it.
Take care.

Seems like you've turned to this site for counseling and guidance. Honestly this really is a private matter. If you read back over the first reply i posted, i finished it with positive advice but you chose to take what you wanted from what i wrote and reply with aggression. Speak to family members or friends, (if you have any!) about your feelings rather than broadcast it on the internet.
If she wants to let off steam or seek advice on the web, let her get on with it.

To be fair to ScoobyLou, she is clearly in a bad place at the moment with what has happened in her life, and this usb now turning up and she has turned to a forum she has long been a member of for some advice, and probably as much for a rant. You may have added some advice into your post, but you really didn't need to come along and suggest she shouldn't have posted this because it's a car forum. Primarily it is, but this is a non-car related section where people are free to talk about various topics (so long as they are not against the rules-which this isn't).

Thanks Lisa.
Everything has got to me. Sorry if offended anyone and thanks to all that offered advice, really do appreciate it.

Remaining consumed by anger not only makes it hard to get your life back on track in terms of work/finances/relationship etc. it can't be doing your health any good either, believe me, stress can really take it's toll physically.
Whatever you decide to do from this point on, I hope you can somehow close this chapter of your life. You might be at a low point now, but build on the little you may have and look at anything positive. Don't let these guys take anything more from you than they already have.

Some of the best advice I was ever given concerning dealing with fu*ckwits, liars, scumbags, idiots & all manner of lowlife morons with no moral compass or backbone:
'Never wrestle with a pig.You will both get covered with sh*t but the pig will enjoy it.'

Yeah thats what I did. Walked away.
Couple of colleagues tried to get them in court for wrongful dismissal etc and won....But they didn't see a penny as the company was bumped, and all of its assets disappeared.
Put it this way, if the gaffer's wife did the books and the business was operated to sustain their lifestyle. There was never any money to "win" from any court proceedings. I mean the brand new Merc MLs made it clear where the money was going, meanwhile I was stuck driving a worn out old van with odd sized tyres that decides to run on two cylinders as when it pleased.

It will take your mind off it for sure....
Put it behind you .Its not healthy to dwell on something you probably cant change.
When ever the bad thoughts come over you..."flick ,flick flick..."

Obviously a joke, but psychologically you train yourself so that you can only get off when sad as the association between the feeling, the act and then the result is created.

Lol, I have a teenage son
When things get tense, and teenage bravado and testosterone bubble to the surface
The reference to the "sock of shame", puts him back in his box and normal family order, for the rest of us, is restored
