In all fairness and if I'm wrong here then I totally apologise.
But I think the emergency thing is all bollocks, as that's his slightly his get out of jail card. We've seen it all before.
But I'm sorry if it was genuine.

I read that, and of course, 'emergency' situation deserves buyer's understanding.

But here's the thing>

The seller doesn't elaborate (which he doesn't have to; his emergency is his business, fair enough) nor does he emphasise on his 'emergency' in any of his communication with the buyer. More so, if that was the case, he could have dropped a text to the buyer e.g. "Emergency, M8. Gotta leave. Soz won't be there 2day" and later, he could have rung up the buyer and explained. I have a feeling that buyer would have shown his understanding on that. If the emergency was so mind-shattering (which it could have been), I don't read the seller emphasising on the severity of his emergency. He seems to be going round and round with blaming the buyer with the point that it was the buyer who fekked up by being late. Also, when any wrongdoer says- "Oh, I don't care what others think of me. I have my agenda and that's it" and "People who know me know that I'm sound as a pound" etc. etc. doesn't really work. The point is that as a good businessman you need to get in the good books of people who don't know you. I think it is important that the seller does have some communication skills to connect with all buyers.

The seller was a bit too casual upon finally returning the seller's money as well, and just said that he had a new buyer; as if to say- "Have your money back, I care not". That's quite devaluating for the buyer, after his wasted trip, don't you think?

Clearly, with all due regards to the seller, there's a room for improvement for him.

Let me add, if the seller had stated that he simply forgot in the most genuine and apologetic manner, I don't think BustaMOVE would have put up a thread on the issue here. People forget, it happens. Humans forgive, it also happens. But the communication between the two seems so wrongly wired that it makes the seller's defensive, table turning defiance pretty visible.

I'm not saying that he's such a villain or anything, but he does need to know that such behaviour is self-destructive; in business or in pleasure. That's all.

100% as I've already said this. It how he implied himself after, and all I kept saying is just refund me and I'll walk away as I sensed it from the off (that's my right to walk away if I'm not happy) but he just carried on talking politics which then got me annoyed with my last message to him.

And don't forget he welcomed this thread as he 'didn't care' so I thought sod it, this thread would be worth a £20 loss.

From reading the texts in the OP to the transcript posted by Rbon, I have just this to say...

"Should HAVE" not "Should OF".

FFS.
