Yeah to say its had a hard life is a understatement, it's been pretty hacked, filled and bodged all over,

Replaced the wings, bonnet needs to be changed too, doors will come off tomorrow for filler too.

Have you trimmed your front arches back and cut back your rear arches and welded them back up higher.

So that there will not be any clearance issues with your new wider wheels.

My understanding is that you test fit your Coilover suspension and your wheels to check clearances on lock to lock on the front and on the rear you check the clearance of the tyre to inner arch.

Arches at the rear were already rolled alot! Just fronts needed cutting.
No idea on what wheels I will be going for yet

Banny had the rear arches pulled so they would clear his 17x8 wheels.

When people fit the ABW arches they go for a wheel sizes that are 18x8.75 or 18x9.75. These size wheels fill up the arches nicely.

Here is a link with a type r with the ABW arches fitted with wider wheels

Nope I bought it as a rolling project already painted in that color, think it was called bmw sophisto xyrilliac grey. Joe it was a veilside ganador titanium zorst with the tip modded from 5" to 3.5".
