Decided to reserect this as we recently moved desks and I happen to sit the otherside of the wall to marketing and I lost count of the times one guy says "onboarding" during conversations.

So come on we have had 5 years to perfect our corpspeak so who has a few doozies to share?

"Reach out" of course is another recent and fecking annoying one, I will punch anyone square in the face if they say it to me in conversation.

I fecking hate that term.
You should hear the shyte that comes out of the Microsoft people I deal with(I'm talking senior people).
They're at that reaching out shyte all the time, ticking boxes, getting the numbers right, thinking outside the box, along with some blue sky thinking too.

**** right off!

American Microsoft are even worse, had this one recently as i brought two guys into a meeting at zero notice.
"Thank you for getting the band together"

You can **** right off too!

Box ticking exercise is one I hear a lot.
My regional director finds children's books and uses their titles as a question on performance
'what will make my boat go faster' is one, rather than just saying what will make things better.
'Someone's stolen my cheese' is another, basically stop moaning that someone else is doing better and why.

There's one thing in common, all these vacuous terms stem from the yanks.

But it's no excuse for us to copy them, we invented the english language ffs, we should set a better example. It actually sickens me.
