My business, seems to have gone down a lot thus year, don't think people have spare cash for yachts ( their equipment ) now

I'd love a day a week plastering. ( i reckon my bathroom is ok ) . Don't think anyone would entertain taking on a trainee 50 y/o

I know a lot of dairy farmers - TBH farmers do like to moan a bit even when the going is good. Plenty live in very decent houses with nice cars, decent holidays, etc.

The joys yeah, getting worse all the time.our place is now giving more Work to the foreign drivers, mainly because they are not paying them to weekend out abroad, they doing it for nothing.
Now I'm £200.00 down in wages for the last two weeks.
And as for the cpc biggest waste of time ever.

Sounds like you deserve your time off, enjoy it.

Its not a small house as its 160m2 on both floors that's a good sized 5 bedroomed house

The small ones I do in a week and under

That's easier said than done. Most people dislike their job and only stay because they can't afford to do move elsewhere.

Very true, I dislike my job as I would like something where I went to work and returned clean! But I'm very good at what I do and have a knack for knowing how to do things quickly, its rare I'm not the highest paid person on the site. To move into another job would kill my pocket more than me.

I'm stuck. If I move up then the position isn't paid overtime. So although my basic would be higher id end up losing out financially. If I move to a similar company, and I've been offered the chance to many times, then I'd be back to 'starting wages'. And in reality all companies in my industry are exactly the same.

I knew I would get hassled loads in the last house, half the windows are missing and I only started it on Tuesday yet they have it arranged for all trades to start in the house on Monday.
In four days I have boarded the whole house (big 4 bedroomed) and plastered most of the ground floor but to finish by Sunday is totally unrealistic. I'm soo looking forward to next Friday when all this madness is over
