Definitely, its the only car(s) that are equal to an Evo I feel.

It's down to what your aim is really. I had 3 scoobs non dccd but had an opportunity to drive quite few variants in my life. Evo is not a better place to be in if its your daily. Its much sharper harsher ride , more responsive . The chassis sits lower and is wider . Better cooling , ive found out its easier to service too. You'll 7hear too much of bollox on Snet regards them , and its totally untrue. It is a better car personally for me as i use it on track days or ocasional blast on B roads only. Recently i had to use it as daily for 2 months and i wasn't impressed. Was remembering and comparing how good my jdm bug was before i went full retard and started modding to suit the track and that became to edgy for the road eventually.
I had bought a car like yours for a lad back home and drove it here for couple of weeks it was the perfect scoob in my book , the way they should be made from the beginning. Not your UK lardy ones. Quick rack dccd makes it so much a better of a car IMO. Unfortunately it wss out of my price range when bug went and so i decided to try the dsrk side. I'm glad i did. Fantastic bit of kit for my needs.

hello all, testing the water to see if anyone is interested in buying the jdm...now sitting on 61k and has had 2 services and a full underside waxoil (including inside boot ligning / wheel arch liners) . car looks the exact same as in the original for sale post pics. I tried to make a new advert but I do not have the required privilege???. anyone interested get in touch and I can send recent pics and answer questions....quick story. had sccobs 14 years, big fan....had been looking for a change before buying this one after selling my prodrive version bug sti. tried a 170 a3 diesel and a golf as I was after something newer...wasnae impressed and was considering a hatch sti when this baby came up localish....as I had been without a car for a month the temptation was toooo much and I had to have her...that is the story and I am now thinking about something more suited to my circumstances.....saying that, I would not bet against getting back to a Subaru at some point..hahaha. realistic offers please,,,, its not going cheap as I do not need to sell, have even considered parking it up for 6 months a year and getting a cheap runabout.cheers...garry.

looks like I could be trading in the scoob this weekend. last chance for anyone to declare an interest is running out....can totally guarantee that if its a jdm blob sti you are after then you will not be disappointed.

would even go as far as saying if you come to view with cash and decide its not as good as you'll see elsehwere ( show car or garaged low miler apart ) then I will pay your fuel home.

cheers...

correct fella, it is off course a blob....my previous car was a uk bug sti hence the error

you can email me on garry@scoobydriver.freeserve.co.uk if you would like to discuss price etc etc in private, cheers.

not looking to try and over inflate her value, so going rate for a really good low milage jdm with proper history is what I would be looking around.

hi peedee...aye, scoobs still being looked after how it should be by an enthusiast...

contacted you when I was looking to buy her at first to get some history on her.

like I says in my story, was really looking to get something like a 320d or an a3 170 sline but after having a go was really disappointed....so with no car for a month having sold my bug sti when your old jdm came up I had to have her.

it really is too good a car for everyday use if you know what I mean. I should probably garage it for 6 months a year and get a workhorse and enjoy the scoob for better weather weekend away days. cannae be bothered with having 2 cars though

for the folk that have pm'd via this site or contacted me on my own email. just to clarify the price so folk can decide if they want to continue with their interest.

8k would buy her, obviously if someone went higher then cash is king.

looking to get something sorted by the weekend one way or the other, so come then whoever (if anyone) is wiling to meet the price could well be the proud owner before santa comes.

even leaves you time to get the scoobyworld car polish Christmas list written out.

thanks for your views on price ditchy.....100% correct off course

sometimes do not understand folk, the amount of times ive seen people on this site crying about all the good scoobs getting snapped up by garages then getting 2k stuck on the price.

just for anyone that is watching and waiting...before buying this car I traced and contacted the previous owners to check on its history etc etc...the car is totally genuine...if you want a jdm at a decent cost then don't wait much longer....come the weekend the same car is going to cost you more.

deal with return home petrol/diesel/lpg/electricity or wind paid for if you are not satisfied with car still stands. tick tock.

Guys I can confirm that Garry took the time to contact the previous owners as I was one of them!

When I owned the car, I cherished it. It sat in my garage and only really got used on weekends (same as my current Impreza really!) It VERY rarely saw the rain. I added the mudflaps, front splitter pro race 1.2's, teins and stereo setup. Please take a look at the link In the first post

thanks for the reference peedee....I would really like to do the same, keep it in a garage and only use it at weekends / summertime.

could actually park her up, get a pretty new wee puddle jumper at £20/week and with the fuel costs actually save money whilst managing to keep the jdm.

unfortunately I do not have a garage, if I did then without doubt that is what I would do....really dislike having to use her as my everyday car, as it most certainly not "an everyday car" although perfectly usable for my 10 miles per day to work and back. on the very odd occasion when I have been on a decent wee b road blast....it is a joy to behold indeed.

maybe I should just build a big greenhouse and look at her gleaming at me

few folk asking....had a positive sounding enquiry the other day but have not had my reply answered, so scoob is still here for the time being.

any specific questions or pics required then fire away.

It will cost you 2 quid to stick it in the for sale section for a month.
