No, that's a standard WRX scoop, slightly bigger than a bug eye one.
Seriously considering changing my volvo for a forester xt at some point so could well have two scoobs as well
Edit: she's sat a bit high in that pick coz I had just dropped it off the trolley jack

I need to find out my colour code to touch up a little........not got a clue tbh what black, guess another call to subaru with chassis No is on the cards!!!
Every time i look at it i notice something else
i would hate to have a brand new black car
Yes dark Ti sounds a good colour option,i do not want an alloy colour, ideally not black but an in-between,maybe a graphite.......or as you say.....
I did have my 18" rims re-done on my 200sx s14a but for the life i cant remember the colour name other than to say it was a darker alloy.....
i have always liked subarus full stop,i like the engineering, the flat 4 or flat 6,the twin turbo legacy are a beast..........just well engineered imho......
A good manufacturer............

thanks for that,i had a google and presumed the same( as appears only 2 blacks on the 2002 wrx)could be wrong of course ,will check tomorrow and sort a touch up pen out(little stone chips etc) Nothing has been re-sprayed,its exactly what you see on the tin(or wrx
)Just way i like it tbh,oe condition............even with marks

Cheers again for help/advice
Clear repeaters came today, still 50/50 about smoked but for what they cost or do it myself its issue free. Clear are an improvement either way from orange imo.

Popped out

Unplug, swap to orange bulbs, clear lens fitted and popped back

Lot better imo

Just front reflectors next
,these are in the mail and will be another week or so i guess, just carbon fibre covers. If these dont look right i will just smoke the ones on

Quicker than expected............
*come from far east quicker then UK
either way my reflector covers came . Admittedly not what i presumed from description as in covers!! they would look ridiculous stuck on the reflector as it would show the orange on sides..........
Not end of world as imo its still far better than it was
Popped out of wing

Covers(or rather sticky backed flexible carbon fibre stuff)

Reverse of orange reflector

So peeled and stuck

Can hardly see them now ...........this is what i wanted
instead of ghastly in your face orange ugliness

Now i have carbon fibre ugliness *
All i await now is my smoked repeaters i found after buying clear
no worries as only £17 so not a big deal

Smoked repeaters fitted now so a little more subtle down the sides

Not sure yet if to try some
http://www.flyeyeskit.co.uk/shop/pro...?id_product=13
For the rear lights, after that i may get alloys either refurbed and sprayed a slightly darker grey or just buy new ones..........

Yes spot on,thanks again,i never noticed tbh
but under light the black has lots of blue speckles in the touch up paint. Under bright light the black shows blue speckles...........would never have known A spray job must not be the easiest..............either way i like it a lot

Going to get winter out of the way, then when spring before it gets to warm(yeh wish full thinking up norf) i will get the body sorted, all gone around to remove fine marks/scratches then polished.
Might be it this year apart from a dvd/gps head unit(Rach has claimed the JVC for hers) and an under seat subwoofer for discrete bass(after seeing the kids xmas list

next year i will look into potential performance improvements. I am 50/50 with age,and coming from a slow beast it feels quick to me,also i cant take advantage now never mind having 280hp on tap!! So jury out for now
Standard sound is OK,little more oomph will sort without filling the boot with a bass tube. Now my boot is small compared to the shogy(no roof crate too
),i have to be a little more fussy for room when camping or going caravan. Maybe even a roof box is on the cards
so hence under seat active sub just to improve sound a little
To be honest spraying isn't too bad, as the missus wrote the rear bumper off on ours I replaced it with an obsidian black (similar colour to yours but on 04 model onwards) and resprayed it myself with cans that I had made up by a local auto paint supplier.
I though, being pearlescent, it would be a bit of a nightmare, but it came out well.
I just gave it a few light passes, making sure to spray in the same direction rather than back and forth, and got good even coverage, the matal flake in the paint was nice and even.
I replaced my head unit last weekend, having read your thread in the ice section.
Went for an alpine Bluetooth double din unit. Sounds better than the standard head unit, but want to replace the door speakers with focal components.
These doors really do need sound deadening of some description though to improve things further.
