If it helps, I've never heard of M9 bolts

The old mild steel ones from my CDF kit are M8 x 60mm and M8 x 70mm. IIRC the 70mm ones fouled the ARB at the front so I fitted 60mm top and bottom.

So tonight was the trial cutting of the new boot lid.
I am going for the spoiler less look with an A line spoiler. But after receiving a boot lid from East Kent scooby spares that got damaged in transit and has more holes than a sieve I'm now on the lookout for a boot lid that's already been despoilers and the holes filled.
If anyone knows of one please PM me

Mmmm I'm scratching my head over that one aswell. I've got one M8 and M10 60 mm ones on order and having some 5mm spacers made up

5mm spacers are not essential, they may be needed if the links don't line up. Yu can get alloy spacers off ebay quite easily

Carbon can be flatted and painted - think F1 cars, it's generally coated in a clear lacquer/gel coat the same as fibre glass

That's very true. The guy is saying that the lacquer has faded and needs re-lacquering.
If the price is right it might be worth a punt !! Just an 8 hour round trip that's all

I'm sure someone local could pick it up for you and sort something out - there's always people on the road

Those drop-links are for steel arms - the ones for alloy arms have equal sized holes at each end

Side marker delete is so 4-years ago

You might be able to change the bush/insert but if you can't then the smaller bolt will have too much play in either the ARB or arm...
