I'm using mine all day long to though. And its an accurate figure that 3yrs, i was dubious it could last that long, but it is based on the number of days and battery level left reported in the Logitech sys tray app. I'm just using 2 regular duracells.

I used to use rechargeables in my last MS wireless mouse, but got sick of having to recharge them every month.

Been using a wireless logitech (+keyboard combo) one for years (i have two of the same model) and the second one is starting to get a little sketchy on the left click (makes the noise but does not register) it also seams a little jumpy when scrolling on screen. The first one was retired for the same fault.

Its also starting to get a bit weird in how close it needs to be to the transmitter (its now a foot away?!? and new batteries don't help) not sure i am seeing the benefit of wireless here , i do get an endless supply of Energizer AA batteries from a friend who works in a hospital and all batteries need changed after 1 use to apparently keep things sterile (i get over a month from each set to be honest)

I am looking at moving back towards a wired mouse, and ran into these cheap ebay things.... (£5.50 shipped)

I also found great reviews on Amazon for them?

I was hammered yesterday on Ghost Recon when clicking to shoot and no fecking bullets came out for the price, i think its worth a try

Used that cheap thing for a while now, works amazing compared with my old one, its improved my accuracy in games a lot and the adjustable DPI button gets a lot more use than i expected it too

I'm well happy with it!
