When time comes you loose flavour, simply remove old wick from coil, fit coil base to tank base and mod. From hear heat up by puling the power till it burns off the residue and carefully under running cold water place just the coil(no power). Do this 2 or 3 times and you will have a new looking coil to use again. Should get 2 maybe 3 uses out of the coil before it will need changing again(one spare iirc in pack).

From here just repeat with cotton and cut for another wick.

Well I messed up a little bit, put too much juice on the wick, DOH! I thought something was wrong with it when it started leaking.

Anyway drama over cleaned it all up and got it going, what a difference to the vaporise fuse, flavour is amazing, got some 6mg 80/20 it's yank stuff Element, Pink lemonade, much thicker and sweeter, but not sickly sweet, it's a bit on the expensive side too so the sooner I start to make my own the better.

When you consider that 20 cigs here are £2.30 and 30g of baccy is £3.50 which is what I smoke and I'd do one 30g pack a week it's about the same for me price wise, as buying a 10ml bottle for £3/4 is the same as backy, skins and filters, so I'd like to make my own asap, not that switching to vaping was about money, it's about not smoking tabs, but I just feel as though the juice is expensive in 10ml bottles considering you can make a litre of the stuff for a tenner.

At least I'll be making my own coils instead of paying a pound each.

Can you tell I'm a tight wad.

P.S is the juice dangerous? says it's toxic.

You will get there soon enough stuff thats happened to me of past including undoing a tank and emptying the contents on me

Making juice is defo the way to go, at around £7 for 1L of PG and VG,10ml of flavour for £2.50(good for 50ml at 20%).

So i buy 5 a time minimum for 250ml juice. Nic concentrate is around £10 for 100ml,so all in your looking around £10 give/take for 100ml of juice. It works out a lot cheaper and sub tanks do guzzle ......

Warning is mainly due to the nic concentrate as its a poison if ingested .

Also you'd have to drink quite a lot of the nic fluid to poison yourself to death When you start making your own make sure you don't get any in your eyes from your fingers From personal experience it stings like a mother, so wear gloves when making up your own e-juice

I usually make up 50ml (in x5 10ml bottles) of 5 different flavours, which takes about 10-15mins to make. This lasts me months, vaping 5-10 times everyday and costs fack all compared to **** I just love the convenience of it as well as the health gains. So handy being able to pull out the subox whenever and have a quick draw.

So what are the preferred 18650 batteries that people are running?

My 6 month old battery in my kanger subox mini is not holding up to much more that a days vaping. That's on 0.5ohm at around 30-40 Watts.

Samsung any good?

May buy a couple and a decent charger too.

Just a quick question, a lot of you have some very good e-cig gear, a lot of it looks quite expensive as well. Looking at some of the setups you have it looks like you have set yourselves up for the long term rather than looking to give up, it's just i thought the idea of e-cigs was to help you get off cigarettes and to slowly get off nicotine.

I presume some of you enjoy it too much to think of coming off them ?

Yeah, that's my problem.

I like the throat hit and flavours too much.

Once you get on the mods, (more powerful e cig) they do tend to use juice at a vast rate of knots, so you have to look at making your own juice to keep the costs down. This is my next step as nobody seems to produce my favourite flavour (bubblegum) for a cheap price. My local store offers 30ml for £10 but I can get through that in around a week! And I was only smoking 1 pack of 20 **** during the same period.

Feel much for it though.

My GF was under the impression that e-cigs were only to help give up. Personally I quite liked smoking and when abroad I will smoke rather than take my vape. Mostly due to the vape leaking like mad.

I have a Kangertech sub on a Sigelei 50w and the tank leaked a bit from time to time. Recently they've changed to the vertical coils and it leaks constantly like a sieve. I got the 1.2 ohm coils and it doesn't matter what the wattage is (high wattage it just tastes burnt and nasty) or how soft or hard I take a hit, leaking. On the odd occasion it won't leak but this is very occasionally. I checked the seals and they seem fine. Changed the coil but it's not better.

The only thing that has worked - at least since last night when I decided it was either bin it or try one last save - I used the 0.5 coil in the rebuildable head. So far it hasn't leaked. Only downside is it's a little too harsh on the 0.5

Edd, the RBA in the kanger is superb, the harsh will be the actual PG amount in the fluid used. Nip to a decent vape shop and get a 30ml dripper bottle of some nice juice. Most should be 80%VG which is about as high as you can go. The remaining 20% is PG and the flavour

It will transform your vape!

Recommend the grim reaper range/pura lite gold to start with.

I too found the coils pass fluid and sometimes they can come undone when topping up with juice. However as you have found the RBA coils seems to stop it............lot cheaper than buying coils too!

Samsung 25r
Sony vtc5(make sure genuine)
Samsung 30Q(15a rated but will be more than enough for your use)

Try ecolux shop, top chap

Oh and as for chargers , Xtar are a decent brand, nitecore are OK but just slower charge rates. Ideally for 18650 cells, 1A rate is best or even 1.5a( only certain chargers support this). Either way 1a is enough and will top the cell back up in a couple of hours.

Yup i 2nd that here the Sammy 30Q 18650 and a Xtar charger works really well. The 18650 lasts me 2-3 days, sometimes more.

Edd, i don't get any leaking at all with 0.5 BVC coils in the subox mini tank, i actually got more leaks using the RBA It's maybe your tank base that's at fault? who knows.

Hello again guys, more questions

I'm having trouble sourcing liquid out here in Croatia, so was wondering if you guys have come across any sites that post to EU, ideally for diy mixing, of the few links posted in here none seem to post outside the UK, so was hoping your combined surfing may have found some, i'd like someone that does the capella concentrates too as I'd like to try bubble gum and candyfloss, think I have a bit of a sweet tooth.

Yeah, since using the RBA it hasn't leaked once.

I use Red Astaire. Some off the shelf, some made myself from concentrate. I've made 50/50 previously but will may 80/20 this time around.

80% is a very smooth vape, just got in a 2L bottle of VG(£10) ...........should be good for a month or 3

Only PG now is the flavour and cant be avoided.......well unless you dont want flavour

Not got over buying 3 bottles from the cloud shop to try out.........£8.50 for 30ml ........each! ouch! Special occasions that stuff

Main tanks i have been using are the uwell crown with the RBA in both. One has capella bubble gum and the other grim reapers vanilla custard.

Recommend me a good brand of already mixed e-cig fluid that has good flavour that i can buy online, i've got a bit fed up with Totally Wicked and their Red Label brand which tastes harsh and leaves a horrible chemical taste in your mouth.

The stuff I really like is called Element-E-liquid, eu/uk enquires; +44(0) 203 540 8054........... elementeliquids.com

80/20 soooooooooo smooooooooooth but it's a bit on the expensive side, grim reaper is good too but only 50/50 out here so a tad more throat hit but some nice flavours.

Wow I'm an expert already.

Ditch

On the Element e-liquids i presume the dripper version fluid would not be suitable for a Kanger Emow Mega tank with 1.5 atmoiser using a Kanger Ipow 2 battery, i presume the dripper series is a thicker liquid designed for these sub systems ? That one is 80/20 whatever that means.

This is the dripper one which i think your using

https://www.vapourdays.co.uk/product...e-element-oil/

They do a normal Element e liquid which is 50/50, this one below

https://www.vapourdays.co.uk/product...vour-e-liquid/

Would that be more suitable for my setup ? Only prob in that one they only do 10ml bottles which would work out more expensive as they are not cheap anyway.

I use it in both of mine although it's a bit wasted in my little vapourize Fuse 650 as the flavour is nowhere near as good as in the Kanger subox mini, I have started mixing the cheaper juices with it last night as I bought a cream one that is pretty bland so just added a cheap coffee one to it and hey presto nice smooth coffee cream.

80 = vg content which = smoothness; 20 = pg content and that's where the throat hit comes from. 50/50 is still ok but I have found it depends on the juice, cheap seems to = rough on the throat.

Ven said with the thicker juices you can add a little distilled water to thin it out a bit, so if I were you I'd be inclined to buy the thicker stuff and water it down a bit, you'll aso get more for your money so no brainer.

And yea I'm using the dripper series as it's all I can get here £10 for 20ml too so not exactly cheap, I'll recommend the Pink Lemonade though as that's lovely.

The sooner I get my act together on diy mixing the better as I really don't like forking out when I know I can get it so much cheaper, putting an order together with a mate out here that vapes and going halves on the postage, that's how tight I am.

So another question from me, do I have to use nicotine, I think not but just wanted to check, I'm not really bothered about the stuff but I do enjoy smoking (strange I know) so was wondering if I could just put in an order for 2 x 250ml bottles of VG and 1x250ml bottle of PG which by my understanding would make my mix 75/25 then have a couple of bottles of flavourings.

Also how much flavour would I need to buy for that quantity of juice as I don't want to under order and get stung for £13 delivery for a couple of bottles of flavouring.

Yes fine without nicotine, in fact many dont use it and more so for cloud chasers or drippers.

Reg flavours, work on around 20% so 20ml per 100 of fluid. All fluid is PG so now i just use flavour for my PG and miss it out altogether. My mix is now 80% VG and the rest flavour(my nic is VG too).

Very smooth cloudy vape

Brands wise i have tried 3 recently, i like pura lite gold and grim reaper kick the bucket.

Not cheap though, i tried ordering on line and it was £12.99 for 30ml from supplier where as my local shop charges £8.50
http://www.blackmagiceliquids.co.uk/...ck-the-bucket/

Would have a look around if decide on that brand, can add the vanilla custard is one of the nicest flavours i have tried........ever.

Oh and for VG , if decide to go without PG just buy 2L of the stuff for £10. Saves a lot of messing about and cheap as chips. This is my last lot i got
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3017466040...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Then just get flavours, not sure what you like but i bought the bubble gum flavour which is quite similar to the capella one(very nice)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3011068634...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

All in quite cheap compared to bought fluids.
