Lol at you lot, don't worry he will most definitely be back is a Subaru in the not too distant future, but it'll probably be a Spec C, S202 or something along those lines, it's in his blood.

Coming up to a year since I sold the car, seen some pics of what the current owner has done with the car and the phrase "if you have nothing nice to say dont say anything at all" comes to mind.

Definitely wont be back in Subaru as the prices for even average cars is stupid and also I fancy a new challenge with modifying....

I was tempted at one point to move away from the classics to a newage but ultimately they are too refined for a weekend fun car and hence I could not justify getting one, even though my brother Maz offered me his jdm 400bhp blob at cheap price

I'm not sure any Subaru can be classed as refined to be honest.

recently I find myself looking more and more at the C63's. But I really do like the slightly raw feel you get from the Subaru to be honest. They feel like a daily use track car in many ways they way they ride bumps and handle. More of a boy racer car than the grown up mercs etc. If I got a merc I'd probably have to have a simple stripped weekend car of some sort too.

I'm still in two minds whether I should do the trade for my FSTI against the forged hatch that's been offered to me.

The JDM blob sounds nice.

I agree any newish car will be refined compared to a scoob and you will never recreate that feeling with a modern motor. A forged hatch sounds like a good proposition as you negate the crap 2.5 engine issues and just enjoy the car. Maz ended up selling the blob to a trader for circa 8.5k a week later with a wheel refurb it was up for 14k

Oh wow. That's some transformation! Doesn't look like the same car. Only way to tell is the FMIC setup. That's crazy. No more sleeper type R then! lol.

Certainly preferred it when you had it. Such a shame. Looks like it's been re-sprayed in someone's garden.

Shame your bro lost out on his Blob. That's the trouble. I was realistic with my old hawk and sold it back to the Subaru main dealer owner, who'd always liked what I'd done to it. He sold it on the same week for twice the amount. Still, it's gone that's the main thing.

Ever fancied doing an EJ33 in a type R like Simons old car? What every happened to that car?

I always liked the look of the car when you had it Banny and would loved to have bought it.

I'd also like to see an update on what happened to Simons car.

I've ended up moving on a bmw m140i shadow edition, great little car with a decent amount of go out of the box. As ever got a few mods planned for it as it did not come with indicators lol

Already on reasonable money to be honest considering it's not even a complete driveable car any more like when you had it.

Such a shame.
