Default Brembos

I've done a search and I think I found the answer, but I'm wanting to double check before trying to buy but.......

Do the Brembos from the STI clear the std WRX wheels?

No they won't. Simple solution is to fit sti wheels. The rears use a different handbrake drum too, iirc Godspeed make a conversion kit to enable sti brembos to fit the wrx.

Another Q.....

If I were to fit 18" and went for a big brake kit will all the 356mm kits clear the 18" wheels?

It's down to the offset of the wheel rather than the diameter that governs fitment.

There you go, they're smaller than the sti brembos so will fit under your wrx wheels.

Argh yeah just seen them, Cheers guys .

I've got 18" wolfrace rims on mine but I'm assuming that the 330mm kit will fit my 18's ?.

Also don't you get a discount for being on scoobynet aswell ?

HI
The good news the kit linked above we have on offer at £899 at the moment , as we have brought out another kit using a larger Brembo 4 pot monoblock caliper , which uses the same pad as the STi calipers , the discs are still 330mm , but has a smaller diameter bell , and more available pad area on the disc , the new kit with larger pads is £999 with PF Z rated pads

You can see the difference in the caliper , discs and bells compered to the link above

Its £35 more if you want CL RC5+ pads , we can supply these kits with any make and spec pads , prices vary depending on what pads you want.

Both these kits will fit under the standard 17" WRX wheels

They are very good value for money , and work very well .

Cheers Ian

They do look nice I have to admit. And at a cheaper price than to some of the other places I've been quoted. Do the calipers come in red aswell ?

Yes calipers come in either the silver or red as in the photo , for £50 extra we can strip them and powder coat them any colour you want

bummer, personally i'd just save your pennies, do it right once rather than pay 50% then 100% if that makes sense.

Other option is something like D2, stay away from Ksport though.

D2 , K sport and XYZ are all the same kits made in the same factory , just badged up differently

Similar in that it uses Brembo calipers , both the kits we sell uses larger calipers than the GT ones , then the discs , bells and brackets are made by us

An AP kit , with 330mm discs and 4 pot calipers , like the CP5200 calipers will work no better than the smaller Brembo kit we make , the larger Brembo caliper one will work better than an AP 4 pot kit.

So you're spending a lot more money for nothing
