Not sure about the above, but I have a similar story! I was at Tower Bridge a couple of years ago and I saw an Aston Martin Vanquish, looked at the number plate and it was '007 SPY', looked at the driver and it was Daniel Craig! I thought that was pretty cool, that's my only claim to fame!

Another similar story here! Was on the M4 a couple of years back and an Aston Martin DB9 passed me. Reg plate was 'DB9'. Probably some Aston bigwig on his way to London for a meeting (it was about 7am).

I know its not a Subaru but anyone know who this might have been? The photo from 2007 on plate wave website is the exact car I saw today. I just wondered if it was someone famous or uber successful that I might know of. The driver was a white haired gent. That is quite a valuable number plate I would guess, just 2 digits V8!

Saeed Abdul Ghaffer Khouri demolished Talal Khoury's previous record earlier this year when he bought a number plate bearing the single digit "1" at an auction in Abu Dhabi. Mr Khouri, a member of a wealthy Abu Dhabi family, said: "I bought it because it's the best number." He wouldn't say which of his vehicles he'd be putting the number plate on.
